Karl and Gomer's College Experience in Amerika! [E-mail Far and Wide!]

    Gomer was a college student.

He was taking a course taught by an avowed socialist. He didn't know much about socialism - it never really crossed his mind. Gomer was a football player, it was football season, he played hard and partied hard, and Gomer didn't have as much time as he needed to spend on his studies, so his classes suffered in the Fall.

One day the professor gave a writing assignment to everyone in the class. Everyone was to write a paper with the same title, "From Each, According to His Ability, To Each, According to His Need" (the classic statement of the socialist). Everyone began working on the assignment.

There was another student in the class, Karl, who was a strong socialist.

Karl was very delighted about the assignment, and he was anxious to begin. Karl went home and worked vigorously on his paper. He worked three hours a night, read several books and articles, interviewed socialist authors and experts, included many footnotes and a great bibliography, followed the college's research paper style guide perfectly, and worked in the library straight through the weekend, missing the big football game and all of the parties, to turn in his 20-page paper.

When Karl received his paper, he was astonished to see a "C+" grade. Karl immediately stormed up to the professor and demanded an explanation for a grade that was far below Karl's expectation.

The professor replied, "Karl, you should be very proud of your paper. It was exceptional. Gomer, who sits in the back by the door when he attends class, didn't do so well with his report, which he had to write on two cocktail napkins "stapled" together with a wad of chewing gum. So I gave Gomer some of your credits to give you both a C+. You know, from each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

Note: Dear Baptist Patriots, this is one in a series of short emails, usually initiated by a story, the goal of which is to have them emailed/posted to friends/family/peers who are unaware of the Collectivism entrenched in the U.S.A.. I implore you to email this far and wide. I shudder at the thought of Obama or Hillary - clearly communist - or McCain - clearly fascist - in the oval office. Only educating the citizenry on the basics will crack the ice to allow them to see through to the truth.

About the time someone spells America with a "k", I understand that they are either without spell check or far left liberals hung over form the '60's or have never lived, worked or ministered in a "clearly communist" or "clearly fascist" state.

Kafka wrote a book called Amerika. I think that's where everybody got that notion.
