    No, it isn't.
I asked rational questions and I expect rational answers.

this next scripture will hit 2 birds with 1 stone.

    Leviticus 23-31

Ye shall do no manner of work:it shall be a statue FOR EVER throughout your generations in ALL your dwellings.

Now deal with the scripture that is presented instead of running a wild rabbit chase to escape from the scripture presented ????

first of all it says that they should observer this FOR EVER--Now you who think FOR EVER is eternal--YOU have a major problem with this verse in context (according to your view this was to be done FOR ETERNITY).

second if they were to observe this FOR EVER and it meant Eternity --Then why do you say these such commandments have been abolished ?????

2 questions there for you--how about answering them and not running from the scriptures presented to try and uphold to your man -made doctrines ????

    Two questions on what?
They have nothing to do with the OP: "His Commandments."

Your quotes are from Leviticus. They are OT Law. They are not His Commandments. His Commandments are to be found in the NT. The "His" refers to none other but Jesus, by whose name one is saved.

well why don't you anser the post----they were told to do it forever ???

now either your view of for ever is wrong or your view of keeping the commandments is wrong--which is it ?????????

I did answer the post; you don't like my answer.
Obviously, "they," those to whom the command were given, were the OT Jews. We are not under the law. It was nailed to the cross. I am not a Jew; are you? What tribe do you belong to?

ok so you believe that for ever is not eternal--you did not deal with that part of the post ?????

you either have to say for ever isn't eternal but AGE LASTING
or you have to say that forever is eternal and they are still keeping it ??

Which is it ??????/ you cant have both ??????????

quit side stepping the real issue here and tell us which it is ????????

Exodus 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Forever, perpetual, throughout all generations--"between me and the Israelites."

That is not written for me. It is written for the Jews. I am not part of that nation. Those commands are not for me to keep.
Now go to the OP: HIS commands.
    What are HIS commands?
    Do you keep HIS commands?

Stay away from this red herring and go back to the OP.

The only one who is "side-stepping" is HW, as can be easily seen throughout this thread.

He expressed his displeasure (as I did), at you for not giving direct and honest answers that answer both the OP, and the questions asked by others related to the OP. Why don't you answer him instead of complaining?

    Did I say that?
Israel is not the church, and the church did not replace Israel.
That is a heresy known as Replacement Theology.
    I don't believe in it.

yes you did say that---if it is forever then--it MUST be still observed

Just because YOU don't believe it---doesn't make it set under stone.

Are you 100 % correct in ALL what you believe ?????

The claim that the Church replaced Israel is indeed heretical doctrine. It is not taught in the Bible.

Why do you continue to go down rabbit trails instead of answering our questions? Why do you continue to derail the OP?

I wouldn't post doctrine unless I believed I was 100% correct in it. God forbid if I should ever post heresy.

Your profile says that you are a "meatcutter." Is that correct?
Tell me what you wear? Is everything that you wear of one type of clothing?
Do you wear all wool? All linen? Everything from head to foot of one type of cloth? If you have mixed cloth--polyester/cotton mix? or cotton shirt and wool socks? If not you sin!

Leviticus 19:19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

This too is a command that you must keep forever. Do you keep it?

    The OP is your OP.
If you cannot answer your own OP, or stay on topic, then perhaps the entire thread should be either deleted or at least closed.

I suggest you read the rules, to which you agreed when you registered here, once again.

Take not of this one in particular:
It has the additional meaning of "Stay on topic."
