Carpro, do you understand that there are consequences to actions by our federal government? Understanding and articulating this in no way justifies or gives cover to anyone to perpetrate a crime or commit an attack against these United States.

Now, you may agree with the policies of our federal government regardless of any associated consequences as is your prerogative. However, surely you know that Ron Paul in no way has ever said in any form whatsoever that what al Qaeda did on 9/11/2001 was an okay thing or that we should not have gone after al Qaeda and its Taliban allies. After all, he voted to do exactly that.

So...who's denying it? The "commision report" isn't denying it, our intell agencies aren't denying it, history pretty much proves as much so why should Ron Paul or any of his supporters deny it?

No. He just indicated that it was our fault we were attacked.

I don't subscribe to that position at all.

You do realize that an "indication" is contigent upon "interpretation" right?

Not in this case. Paul was clear. No "interpretation" needed.

No, carpro, if Paul was "clear" than you wouldn't have posted this:

However you wish to interpret that "dancing" is your business: just don't lie and pretend you aren't.

Why are you so defensive and angry over a simple truth?

If you have a problem with Paul's position on the matter, you really should take it up with him.

Paul lays the blame for 911 squarely at our own feet. There is no doubt about it.

I disagree with that position. Evidently you don't.

So then you disagree with the "commision report", our intell agencies and history? Personally I find it uncomfortable trying to contort my mind into weird shapes until I believe up is down and black is white, right is wrong and torture is good. Does it hurt much?

I believe murdering 3000 innocent people is in excusable.

When you contend that we brought it on ourselves, you are excusing the killers for what they did. After all, it wasn't their fault. It was ours.

"For the critics of our policy of foreign interventionism in the affairs of others the attack on New York and Washington was not a surprise and many have warned of its inevitability."

Ooooh! Scandalous! A cut and paste that doesn't indict Paul for justifying murder! What will you think of next, carpro?

So when Bush predicts that Iran will be dangerous he's actually saying, "They're justified in killing us."

That's a carefully written and expertly promoted lie and a half brother. We don't even know for sure who did it yet...after seven years! What are the odds?

Talk about yer circumstantial evidence. That's all you've got to "prove" that 19 Arabs, 15 of them Saudis did it. Yet you speak as if it's been proven in a court of law. Why?

Who was held accountable for the gross ineptitude the state used as a defense in not defending us? Who?

"Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we've been over there. We've been bombing Iraq for 10 years."

    Ron Paul

They wouldn't have attacked us if we hadn't been "over there". Isolationism pays. Nobody wants to kill you when you are disengaged.

And it really doesn't matter who "they" are when they've already been excused for it.

carpro, Paul's explaining why the terrorists hate us doesn't mean he wants them to hate us or approves of the fact that they hate us. How is this confusing?

Not a problem. We are being treated to seeing just how flimsy the attacks on Congressman Paul are by those who oppose his presidential campaign on behalf of limited government.

This is the best Ron Paul campaign ad so far, imo.
