    STORY

This will help Obama greatly in the demographic of "People Who Commit Vehicular Homicide And Somehow Get Away With It." Teddy Kennedy has a great deal of sway with that particular group.

Gee whiz...why would you WANT that fella's endorsement? Anyway...

Kennedy doesn't support a Clinton that is quite humerous.

This is big, big trouble for Hillary Clinton.

Personally, I am more impressed with Caroline Kennedy's endorsement than I am that of Senator Kennedy.

You might be surprised to find out that Senator Kennedy is still thought well of by most of us democrats (We've gotten over Chapaquitic).

At least Obama isn't comparing himself to JFK.

Dan "Potatoe" Quayle tried it and got a Lloyd Bentsen smackdown.

"Senator, I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're NO Jack Kennedy."

I also think that despite the long shadow of Chappaquidick, Senator Kennedy's five decades of service fighting for progressive causes will carry some weight for Senator Obama.

That can also be said for Bathsheba's husband, Uriah the Hittite. You don't always address King David as, "King 'murderer' David," do you?

Very poor illustration to make your point.

    Perhaps you should try again.

I wonder if Obama realizes that having Kennedy's endorsement means he is now working for the Kennedy family? Don't forget the power of the Irish mafia in Boston!

An excellent point, Dagwood. But don't hold your breath expecting right-wing Christians to agree with your point.

Hmmm... What is worse? Working for the Kennedy family? or working for the Saudi Royals as our current POTUS?

I'll take working for the Kennedy's anyday, but that's just me.

It's not a poor illustration; you understood my point quite well. You just don't like what I am saying.

How will all the Yellow Dog Democrats (Old South Democrats), who are racists to the core of their very being, vote? I have some of them in my church. They vote democrat (still think that the so called progressives of today are the same ones who proposed the "New Deal.") but there's no way they will vote for a black man. This may swing a good number of votes to the Republican side, especially if McCain get the Republican nomination.

As far as I'm concerned, the endorsement of Ted Kennedy, only verifies where Obama stands. Plus, have any of you checked out Obama's church affiliation? Now that bothers me worse than Ted "hiccup" Kennedy does.

Here we go again with the bashing Obama on phony issues.

If the GOP needs racists to win, that is a sad commentary on the state of their party.
