Pastor Larry, the CP and their allies have clogged this board up with complaints about Bush. Yet Bush is going up in the polls. Kerry is under investigation for what he has done and he is hiding behind the secrets of his concealed military record. The CP only got 98,000 votes last time and it is likely that they will get even fewer this time because of their "anything goes" tactics.

People don't like Kerry because he cannot handle his own critics. He seems to be asking Bush to help him run the Kerry campaign. Bush could care less about the Swift Vets because Bush does not want to debate Viet Nam while we are at war against terrorists worldwide.

Meanwhile a half dozen lawyers on the Kerry campaign are legally advising left-wing 527 groups.

It's more than just Kerry. It's his whole party, crying like babies about this. There are pictures of Bush as Hitler, folks have called him an international terrorist, they accuse him of stealing an election, say he decieved the whole world on purpose, even say he knew about 9/11 before it happened. And the powers in the DNC did nothing, and now want ole 'dubya to step in and stop credible, honored veterans from questioning Kerry's valor. After hearing John Mellencamp call Bush a "thug", on stage, and witnessing Whoopi Goldberg parody him in a way I can't put in print, Kerry said,...

"these people speak from the heart of America"

    What a hypocrite.

If you listen really hard, you will hear the shrill cackle of Hillary Clinton, knowing she won't have to run against an incubmant in '08. Could it be she's behind the swifties ?

    Didn't need to. *edited*

If I were to question his position, I wouldn't know at what point in time to question Waffle King Kerry.

So far, the only consistent things about Kerry & Simple Edwards are they have better hair, they aren't GW Bush, and they are pro-death of the helpless. If those are what you want in the White House, then go for it.

BTW, North didn't come back and label his command and fellow soldiers as butchers and Nazis, Now did he? The man is more Clinton than Clinton.

Didn't need to. You apparently don't understand the terms loyalty or patriotism.</font>[/QUOTE]A fine job of not answering my question.
Once more, please show us how Oliver North, who KNOWINGLY broke the law, exhibited "his loyalty and patriotism" by supplying arms to a sworn enemy of the United States. But wait: he didn't stop there, did he? North then violated the Boland Amendment by diverting the profits to the Contras. Remember, he KNOWINGLY did these things.

Let me ask this differently: how does supplying weapons to our enemies prove one's "loyalty and patriotism?"

    See my comments above.

Better hair? When did I mention anything about "better hair?" That is an extraneous subject that you interjected.

No, he topped that: he KNOWINGLY supplied weapons to a sworn enemy of the United States. That is far worse than simply making statements.

    Wow, who ever mentioned Clinton?
    I know I didn't..........

Now, perhaps you can stop interjecting new people into the discussion and explain to us how Oliver North demonstrated "his loyalty and patriotism."

"Better hair" was an attempt at a joke by Kerry, referring to why the Kerry/Edwards team was a better choice....

"we have better ideas concerning the war on terrorism, we have a better plan for the economy, and WE HAVE BETTER HAIR".

    carry on.

    Sure, and that's great.
Now, perhaps Eutychus can show us how Oliver North exhibited "his loyalty and patriotism" by his actions.

It very well could be that the Clintons are behind the Swifties. It is a known fact that they do not like Kerry...never have, never will. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were. I think all of America found that if there's anything crooked that could be done, it had already been done by the Clintons when they were at 1600 PA Ave.

Kerry is worse than Jane Fonda. He's Jane Fonda in drag with a bayonet in the backs of us Vets.

You can run but you can't hide.

The subject is/was "Kerry's hypocrisy." Are you saying that I hijacked this discussion?

If you think that giving aid to our sworn enemies is "loyalty and patriotism", then Ollie North is a "loyal patriot."

I think that Ollie North is like many (most?) conservative Christians. At heart he truly loves his God and his country, but has a habit of confusing them with the GOP.

That might be the case. I would hope so.

All of the powers of hate that the CP can muster to attack the GOP on behalf of the Democrats--and we constantly here of religious tests being applied to the GOP--do not change the fact that the CP is going down to defeat along with their Democrat friends because John Kerry is Hanoi Jane Fonda without the apology.

Michael Kerry Peroutka cannot save Kerry because those two want to retreat from terrorism and bring it to the shores of America. Kerry wants the UN and the EU to make the decisions. Peroutka wants to hunker down in the right-wing bunker and wait for the next Nine Eleven massacre before we fight again. Both of those two are unfit for command, although Kerry is a Viet Nam war hero. Peroutka won't release his military and financial records as far as I know. He may not have served; he may only be another rich Southern trial lawyer like John Edwards. Mike Marauder Peroutka, shark-at-law.

I am glad you don't take politics seriously, cmg. You have some great one-liners to help lighten things up for those of us who maybe take politics too seriously. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Do you think it's true that the reason Kerry was pushed to the fore in 2004 is so that Hillary won't have to deal with a Democratic incumbent in 2008?

It seems that, since there is no serious, credible opposition to the presidency this year, the field will be clear for her when she's ready to take the helm. I mean, if I wanted to choose a team that was sure to blow themselves out of the water, I couldn't make a better choice than Kerry & Edwards.
Nice sacrifice play, if you ask me.

Just remember, Eutychus, to not count your chickens before they hatch.

I think that George W. Bush will win but overconfidence will not help him to do so.

No, I don't think so. I see no internal Democratic political motive that the Dems would have to cosnpire in such a way on behalf od Clinton. Who would benefit, other than her?

Kerry was a second-choice of the Democrats. They had to throw Dean from the train when it was whispered that he himself personally had performed abortions. The Democrat Party, as the demonstraters proved in New York City, is the peace at any price party.

Kerry is now running as the only man who saw combat in Viet Nam.

For that, Gen. Franks said to Kerry, "Welcome home!"

However, Kerry was chosen by the Democrats for his wealth and political experience. They know that he has no chance. That is the reason for the demonstrations and the nastiness such as the infiltration of the GOP convention by demonstrators. Kerry is lost. Those are the tactics of people who know they are losing.

Kerry's problem is that he has never apologized for his anti-war statements that he has admitted were "over the top"--to put it mildly.

The Clintons must be glad to see that the party will be theirs in 2008. However, Kerry has done more damage than they had hoped.

Jews are backing out of the Democrat Party because they failed to even mention Israel in Boston. For the first time since 1928, there are a lot of Jewish Republicans. It is a happy sign for the GOP! Former New York City Mayor Koch, a Jew, says that the Democrat Party is incapable of defending America against terror. Koch is voting for George W. Bush!

That is not surprising since the neo-cons in the Bush administration push an Israel First foreign policy.

The anti-neo-cons have fled to the Democrat Party. The Democrats never even mentioned Israel in Boston. The only mention the CP makes of Israel to the best of my recollection is the warning that Israel will be cut off from American help the day Peroutka overthrows decency and all concern for others.
