They/you should be insulted if you're part of the Democratic Party. Why would a Christian be part of a party that is anti-God, anti-Christ and a home for every foul creature under the sun.

Who are these 'deeply Christians' who want to be part of an anti-christian party?

I’m not a democrat or a Republican. Those people are friends and family

    also First Samuel;

6But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD.
7And the LORD told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.
8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.

The same is applies to you Quantrill and people like you. By your voting for your king you bear responsibility with your king for whatever he does. For his perpetual wars, for legalized abortions, for legalized gay marriages, for forbidden school prayers, for assignations, for imprisonment of political critics, whistle blowers, political opponents, for injustice in courts, and for all other godlessness and evil of your elected king during his kingship.

By abstain from voting I have no part in the wickedness and evil of politicians and whatever they do, so I do not bear responsibility with them for their actions. My conscience my soul are clean.

"You serve the world in paying your taxes, why? Because they will throw you in jail if you don't. Your choice in not voting doesn't cost you, so you decide to serve God in that area. I wouldn't trust you."

And I wouldn't trust you ether. I paying taxes because the Lord said:

    Matthew 22.21

    21. "Then render to Caesar the thing that are Caesar's, and to GOD the things that are GOD'S." (Mark 12.17) (Luke 20.25).

But for what reason you paying your taxes? You gave your allegiance to a mortal man and by doing it you forfeit you allegiance to GOD. You choose that is earthly and disregard that is Heavenly. If Christians are light to the world, then what light has to do with the darkness?

Believe me, I am not alone who do not vote. Many Christians and secular people alike do not vote, because they are smart and know that it would change nothing. But the second coming of Christ will change everything. On our part we shall show the world the way to GOD by our light, because we are light to the world in its darkness.

Thank you for kind words Wind and Fire. GOD bless you.

I do not miss anything. It seems to me it is you who are missing something. The problem is that the Satan is not divided in doing evil, and he and his servants exceeding in their evilness, and this is why Jesus mentioned Satan, because he is undivided and because of it very strong, which is cannot be said about Christians.

But it is the Jews who were divided in their opinion about Christ, and that division causes entire society to divide and crumble because they have no unity in that matter. Same thing happen with all kingdoms of the world who are divided for whatever reason, and US is not exception. If this country does not unite it will fall even deeper.

    Canadyjd asked:

"Maybe you can clarify what you mean by “True Christian”?"

    James 1.27

27.Religion that is pure and undefiled before GOD the Father is this, to care for orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the Word.

A True Christian is one who follows Commandments, Statutes, and Ordinances of GOD. Not a demagogue, hypocrite, or boastful. But keep his/her words and promises and does what had swear or said, who live according to the Statutes and Laws of GOD and instruct others in the same way.

In order for you to have full understanding of a True Christian, buy yourself a Bible where the Words of Christ highlighted in red, and read only His Statements. This helped me a lot to understand Christ much better and what is mean to be a True Christian. Also read following Books of Paul and others in which often described difference between true, false, and fallen believers.

But in general, the True Christian is one who tries very hard to live according the Word of GOD only, and not by any other word, not by word of the church, not by word of "pastors," or by someone else's word.

Concerning who saved and who doesn't, I will repeat again, it is not up to us to know or decide, but our main goal on this Earth is to follow our GOD only, and keep oneself unstained by the Word.

" Have you considered what you just wrote????? If not , you should!!!!!"

O ye, I considered it very well, but I can see that you are not considered what I wrote, so I will explain to you. When you vote for someone, you give your allegiance to that particular person. Allegiance means loyalty, faith, dedication, trust, devotion, and full commitment.

All these things of your vote are spiritual qualities that come from the heart, means from your soul. These are the qualities of your own soul which you can give to anyone you want. It is almost like you give oath or pledge or vow of full and complete loyalty and dedication to someone, for life.

But you have ONLY ONE vote of your allegiance to give away. If you vote multiple times for different people, your votes worth nothing. You cannot have many vote-allegiances, otherwise they all will be worthless. You have ONLY ONE, and to whom you give you vote-allegiance of your soul, it would stay with that person as long as you or he lives.

This means when you vote for a person, you dedicated yourself and your soul to that particular person for life. You cannot take your vote back, it is gone, just like oath you give. Actually your vote is you oath and your allegiance to a person whom you chose.

You cannot take your vote back or transfer it to another person, this will be considered treachery and betrayal on your part. When you give it away it stays away and will not returned back until the life of individual who have your vote of allegiance will end its course.

I explained to you as best as I could that you have ONLY ONE vote and this is your allegiance and your loyalty that comes from your soul. Means that when you vote you dedicated your soul for that particular person.

Giving you vote of allegiance to another, will void both your votes. This why Christ said, "You cannot serve two masters."

If you said that you believe in Christ and Baptized, this is you vote for GOD to be your King, it is your allegiance, your loyalty, you devotion, your faith, and you full commitment to GOD only.

When you vote for an earthly king, you void your vote and your allegiance to GOD. Literally it is betrayal. Because you also promised you loyalty and your allegiance to another person by voting for him to be your earthly King, forgetting that the Heavenly King also the King and of Earth, and here your betrayal became very evident.

If you vote for earthly king you are servant of the earthly king only, and you are no longer servant of GOD, because you forsake and forfeited your vote of allegiance to your GOD when promising Him to be His servant, when you decided to be believer and Baptized yourself, but gave your vote of allegiance to another.

Do you considered this? "If not , you should!!!!!"

    One more thing.

    Quantrill wrote:

Yes, He established all human governments, but HE DOES NOT ACCEPT THEIR DOINGS.

But you, when you vote for any of these governments, you are automatically involved and accepting all their evil deeds, and because of it you also share responsibility for what they are doing.

Does your Bible give Chapter numbers? Your quote of First Samuel doesn't prove your statement that man does not need government. God's government for Israel was to be a Theocracy which was a government. It was not to be a government as other nations had. It doesn't mean that other nations shouldn't have a government.

Again I ask you, how can your family and friends be part of a party, the Democratic Party, which is anti-christian and the home of every foul creature in America? Much less and be so called 'deeply christians'. Oxymoronic.

Of course I bear some responsibility for the one I vote for. That is as it should be.

Go ahead and wash your hands. Pilate also washed his hands.

I already told you, you should pay taxes and vote. I do both as it is the responsible thing to do.

I never said you should vote and not be a witness for Christ. You act as if you can't do both. You can and should.

Of course Jesus is going to set things right when He comes again. That doesn't imply that we should not vote. That's like saying God is going to save those He wants and so we don't need to witness.

(Gen. 9:5-6) is clear. Man is to be responsible. Human government is established. But according to you and others like you, God was mistaken. And you're too spiritual to get involved.

What nonsense. Why would God establish human government and not accept their doings? Human government is not the Church.

Yes, when I vote, I bear responsibility for the one I vote for. As it should be. Because you didn't vote, you share the responsibility of whoever is voted in. Thus you bear responsibility for the anti-christian and Godless party that has now come to power.

But, as I said, go ahead and wash your hands.

Not if your AMERICAN, that is what the electoral college for, It accounts your vote in unity with the state, You always "count".

As a citizen you are already implicated as a "ruler", a negligent one.

OFF THE BAT, YOU ARE A PRO-abortion murderer. ----> You could have voted to save a life, instead YOU promoted murder.

You sat there and did NOTHING for POMPOUS vanity of false piety.

    1 Peter 2

13Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. 15For such is the will of God, that by doing right you silence the ignorance of foolish people. 16Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond-servants of God. 17Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.

18Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are harsh. 19For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person endures grief when suffering unjustly. 20For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.

"to every human institution" WELCOME TO DEMOCRACY.

So is Jesus a Republican or a Democrat... or is he a libertarian? Is the kingdom of god within you or is it in political wrangling? Choose this day who you will serve.

on another note, i am curious, does your church discuss politics in the church?

Even within the church there is politics. In acts 15, you see them debate their positions and then finally they vote.

identifying as a Christian can also scare people off. You could be pegged as just another religious fanatic trying to recruit... then they will shut you I down faster than a JW on your front porch.

Thanks for clarifying you do not believe those involved in politics are not saved.

I will disagree with you they aren’t “true Christians” and it looks a lot like a move toward legalism on your part, but I appreciate the passion you have for your beliefs.

    peace to you

Silly question. If Jesus were on earth today, would He be riding a donkey or a Yamaha 250 dirt bike?

Certain nations represent the good or the evil. Jesus would not be a 'democrat' as democrats are anti-christian. The Conservative Christian party represents faith in God and Godly virtues. It is not hard to see which one God and Christ would be for.

Why do you care if my church discusses politics in the church?
