When man inserts their opinion into God's Word confusion sets in! From a child I have always stuck to reading and studying KJV..I do not feel we need a modern bible when God tells us the Holy Spirit will teach us! I'm not KJVO because I have not read all the different versions so I cannot say KJV is the only accurate bible! The KJV has sufficed for 404 years without any changes to the scripture other than a font change and corrected spellings! I do not support bibles such as the NIV because I feel due to the fact a homosexual and a lesbian were involved in translation/reinterpretation of Gods word! The same guy that published the NIV also published satans bible and a book called "The Joys of Gay Sex"! Harper Collins is the publisher!

Well? I'm left in the dark as to what you feel is not factual, or are you nit picking because of me saying Harper Collins is the publisher? He owns Zondervan so that still makes him the publisher....everything else is well known facts! Just curious!

So as long as my NIV is a pre-1988 edition, it's not tainted by gay satanists, right?

Also, Harper Collins is not a guy. It's a merger of Harper and Row and William Collins, two publishing companies bought by NewsCorp. You don't watch Fox News, do you?

Does it matter? Satan is clearly involved in this bible! Why would they choose a publisher who published such satanic filth?

Well, considering "Harper Collins" is not a guy and had nothing to do with the writing of the NIV, I'd say that's a good start. :)

So what would you call "satanic filth"? Can you give me a verse that would fit in that category?

The lesbian was Virginia Mollenkott who did not do any translating nor is she listed as a translator. Instead, she is listed as a "literary critic and consultant". Realize that there have been 104 men and women who actually WERE translators and I doubt this woman could have "slipped" something past the translation committee to fix things to be pro-gay.

As for Dr. Marten Woudstra, who is accused of being a homosexual, there is no evidence to support such an accusation. None at all.

Was Satan involved in the NIV before Harper & Row bought Zondervan? Do you believe that the NKJV, another Bible published by Zondervan, is likewise tainted by Satan?

That should have disqualified her. Nothing against the NIV mind you.

She should not have been a consultant.

Rumors abound, but the former things being known is unfortunate. Concerning rumors, I've heard King James was a homosexual. I am not certain of the validity of that account, but whenever KJVO'ers attack modern versions, they tend to bring up this practice concerning those on committees of other versions, namely the NIV.

Well, they were not aware of her sexual orientation and even so, being a consultant is significantly different than being a translator, don't you think?

Yep and we as Christians should not stand on rumors but the truth.
