I usually have several with me. I have pocket knives, Leatherman tools with knives, several locking-blade knives, a beautiful Buck fishing knife with a 6" blade, my old Navy Mk III, always one or two in the truck, I keep the Leatherman in a guitar case, I carry a Swiss Army knife most of the time. And it's not like I don't use them. I consider them tools. But beware of the nanny state mentality, even in Texas.
