    Your point is well taken. The pastors I recognized in my own life were the ones who reached out.

    Sounds like Aaron reads it much like I do. There is mutual responsibility, if the body is going to function properly. An attitude of "Well, if you don't know, I'm certainly not going to tell you!" is a surefire way to destroy whatever relationship there might be. Obviously, there is much more to it, but this is a basic requirement.

    This presupposes a connection in the first place, which will likely require other members. If one is sick, then someone else close to him may visit first, at which point he asks that person to bring the elders for prayer. Not every part is directly connected.
