    If you have someone that leads the music during the church services, what do most refer to him or her as?

    Does your church give that position a title?

    We refer to him by name, because everyone knows what he does.


    We're a small church in a small town.

    Since I am the church pianist, I sometimes call him something that I cannot share with you good people on the BB. :saint: :flower: :tongue3:

    Just kidding, we work very closely together and as you know, some Sundays that's a very good thing and some Sundays......:flower:

    I think there are those times my pianist would like to see burst into flames.

    My church family calls me by my name. When they introduce me to people in the community who don't know me, I get called all sorts of things; song leader, choir director, music director.

    The church's title for the position is Music Minister. Does that make the Pastor the Preacher Minister?
