    Thanks, Brother Roby. I know there are those who will claim that the Councils left out certain books on purpose, but those critics generally don't agree that the Bible is the Word of God in the first place. Unfortunately, my oldest brother falls is in this camp. At least he is open to discussion, which is why I wanted your input, which is helpful to me.

    Yes, part of our FAITH is believing God chose what He wanted to be in the Bible's canon, & influenced early church fathers accordingly.

    And Peter called Paul's epistles "Scriptures" in 2 Peter 3:16.

    God caused the Song of Solomon to become Scripture for Hiw own reasons, although WE use it very little. Again, we must TRUST GOD to have provided us His own word in the manners HE has chosen.
