I can see anti-Christian policies coming down the pike, but I don't see any way you can "assure" us of this as certainty.

But it is a logical fallacy to say with absolutely no proof whatsoever, that someone is going to kill Christians. The only reason you are saying this is because you don't like Obama. If I had said that Bush was going to kill Christians you would have pointed out the logical fallacy there, no?

Question for you. How in the world is the government going to have the resources to round up Christians and kill them? They're already bogged down in Iraq for cryin' out loud! And if the government DID round up Christians and kill them are you going to lay down your life for your Lord, or shoot them? Aren't you glad Jesus didn't "shoot" the Roman soldiers who nailed Him to the cross?:godisgood:

It's not any kind of fallacy. Your right I hate BO and I do not claim him as President, I know that he hates life in the extreme and I am assured that when he can he will round up Christians just like his nazi friends did to the jews. When the moron in the WH comes I will fight until I can't fight no more

Once the mind goes, it's all downhill from there. These over the top statements ruin any point you are trying to make. Utterly ridiculous.

Sorry, but as a Christian, you don't have that right.

You are sinning by doing so.

So basically...you're sinning, and you're deceived about it. Allllrighty, then...

Have fun ignoring, tearing out, explaining away, etc. the Scriptural problems with your actions.

Let me know how that works for you.

History you may hate what someone does. But, you are sinning when you say, "I hate" a particular person, to include someone who might be your enemy. Remember that you were once an enemy of God, worthy of His hate, but He forgave you, and gave you a new heart. That new heart cannot hate. So either you do not have this new heart or you are living in the flesh.

I believe "hate crimes" legislation to be unconstitutional.

First of all, it violates the constitutionality of "equal protection under the law". When you say a crime is worse because of the victims race, gender, religion, or sexuality, you violate this principle.

Second, the state cannot introduce it'self as being an arbiter of thought, without violating the first amendment.

a repeat, but I think I cover everything in this response:

Hate crimes are a judicial train wreck because...

    1. They elevate the life of one person (be it black, gay, handicapped, left-handed, white, whatever) over another. Generally, the "empowered" party is worth less than the "powerless." ergo..."All men are created equal, but some are more equal than others." We found that repulsive in the 1960's...why should it not be repulsive now?
    2. They are essentially crimes of thought, which cannot be proven. Remember..."innocent until proven guilty," and "prove beyond a reasonable doubt?" Throw that out the window with hate crime bills...We can only prove crimes of action...and if we'd enforce the laws already there, we wouldn't have to crawl around inside someone's brain, looking for prejudices.
    3. They are unequally enforced. In Alabama, you will never see a black-on-white crime listed as a hate crime." The reverse is not true. I am for equal justice under the law. A white man who kills a black man should be penalized the same as if the race of the victim/perp were reversed.
    4. They needlessly clog up the justice system. If someone's on trial for life, why try separate the hate-crime separately?
    5. They begin erosion of rights: now instances of offensive speech is considered "hate crime." If you preach against homosexuality, get ready...you're next. It's true in other locales worldwide; it will be true here.
    6. They are, at their core, unneccessary. If you gave people who murdered, for instance, the death penalty, no hate crime legislation would be needed. If you castrated rapists, that would just about do it right there.
    7. "Hate crime" is itself a logical fallacy. Who ever commits "love crimes?" All crime comes from hate.

    Thanks, Brother.

I can't believe there is anyone that doesn't know this.

It's sorta like believing a lecturer is a law professor. There is a disconnect with the truth.

Hmm...I notice you referring to him as brother and to me as well...you're basically saying I'm an idiot. Funny, I thought I was your brother too as I'm a Christian. :BangHead:

One can safely assume that when someone "lectures" on a subject in an academic institution, that someone knows what they are talking about.
