    I have two of his big works on Baptist History. The one with the red jacket I know more about, but what about the one with the blue jacket? What is the topic of that volume?

    I don't still have the jackets on mine. One is his omnibus history book, the other is his collection of primary-source documents. Both are must-have volumes.

    I agree with Joshua - these are must have volumes for the Baptist who is interested in Baptist History.

    But as with all Historians, McBeth is fallible and yea even biased at points.
