Somebody tell Les Feldick that the only thing that looks more ridiculous on a man than a short sleeved dress shirt is a short sleeved dress shirt with a tie.

really? And I thought socks with sandals was the issue.

BTW, I like short sleeve dress shirts. They fit the bill when preaching in the heat. I also like ties. But, I am just as likely to preach in khakis and a polo shirt. LOL

Your first post on a theological site is about fashion?

    Don,

I am not quite sure what that inflamatory remark is supposed to imply, but until you choose to speak more plainly, I must assume it to mean you are a follower of Les Feldick.

I think he was implying that threeholes is a troll since his first post was about something so random.

I of course have to agree with threeholes with the shirts.

Less Feldick goes through the Bible on TV. Older guy. Kinda dry.

He pits "Paul's gospel" against Jesus' Gospel, rejects water baptism:

Would he thus be "labeled" as being a Hyper Dispensationalist?

Not sure. I've only seen him as far as flipping through the channel. There was a tv station I did some work for that aired him, but I never listened to him.

He mixed truth with error, and soul liberty with demands for financial support.

He died of cancer some years ago. Gave his latest wife the ministry.

man, just found out garner ted Armstrong died, he is still on TV...

gene Scott went on to his final destination...

Is cable tv just the place where heretics and false teachers just play on forever?

    It's all about money.

All the gimmicks, all the hype, all the proclamations of "a word from God," all the mix of truth and error are hooks to make a grab for the money.

Holy water, special indulgences, extra biblical authority, which the Romanist church has used effectively for centuries, are no different than the antics of the fakers of this age, too.

Many years ago, a radio preacher could be heard shouting and chasing the demons around the meeting among all the whooping and hollering of the audience. He would actually send a demon captured in a mason jar to anyone who sent him a love gift of ---. I don't know if it came with a money back guarantee.

My apologies for the confusion; my "troll" comment was not directed at you.

And no, I'm not a follower of Les Feldick, never heard of him. First thing I thought when I saw the opening post was "Les Nesman," then had to remember that was "WKRP in Cincinnati."
