    Hey,

I didn't want supplies to run out before everyone got a chance to get their Barack in 2008 button, T-Shirt or tote bag. This is a Christmas gift that'll put you on tops with all friends and family. Don't forget the postman, milkman and even the guy who sweeps your street. You can even dial 911 and when the officer arrives, give him a button while the kids sneak bumper stickers on the back of the highly mobile advertisement platform.

Get your entire community involved and don't forget, "Let Barack lead the Attack!" AMERICA WILL LOVE YOU!

Sir, I am here to say Barack will win the war and bring our Boys and Girls home safely while allowing America to save face. If America was smart, we'd let Barack lead the attack in Iraq and get other countries off our back. That's a fact, Jack!

Yep, according to the video he can't make president anyway. Funny part is I gave him more than 5 minutes thought and still think he is one of the top candidates.

He's the only one I would feel comfortable voting for right now...

You're from Al tragic_pizza so excuse my question as I don't mean to offend any of you from the south. I am just curious, are these "United States" ready for a black president?

I don't mean to imply the south is prejudice for there is prejudice everywhere, but I do know the south is full of "tradition" for lack of a better word.

What are your thoughts or the thought of any of you who live in the south?

Hillary RODHAM Clinton, wife of the first black president, will choose him as her running mate. He'll see it as an open door to the presidency in 2016. Bill will become Secretary-General of the U.N. the same year. It's the Hill-Obam-Bill Master Plan.

Our only hope is the rapture, not later than 2015.

Do you really think that the United Nations would ever elect an American to be Secretary General?

    An honest question,

I would think that if any American stood a chance at filling that position it would be Bill Clinton.

Well yeah at this point it is BiR. But Bill can be a very persuasive person among the international community. What is not in his favor is the situation in Iraq but by no fault of his own but at this point I think it is difficult for most members of the U.N. to be forgiving to any American with aspirations to serve because of Iraq.

No, heard him say Barack's a nOOb though, and that's true.

Heh. I'm for whatever it takes to keep Dick Morris in this country. His blind side is when it comes to Hillary, she puts the fear of God into him, he knows her:

    rest of Mr. Triangulation: http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=18573

Sounds about right - Obama's untried, untested, and untrue. And he's got the wrong middle name.

All this fawning adulation over a political neophyte leads me to conclude that democrats believe Obama is their long awaited messiah.

He is a died in the wool, hard core leftist liberal...but he doesn't talk like one.

Anyone that does is not electable. Democrats know it.

No offense taken. I'm a white, middle-aged Southerner, and I'm surrounded by people who assume I share their bias.

As much as I hate to say it, no, the U.S. isn't going to elect an African-American, nor is it going to elect a woman. I think you can skim through a few threads here to see why a woman can't get elected; as for African-Americans, well, let's just say the nation hasn't gotten far enough off of the plantation just yet.

However, I'm no longer happy simply voting for someone who can "win." The only real voice we have in the political process anymore is our vote, and I plan on making a statement with that vote.

Edit to add: The "n00b" part of Obama is what is most attractive to me. People with "experience" have all the wrong kinds of experience.

I am appalled by this "suggestion" regardless of your disclaimer. Why would southerners be any better at answering this question than anyone else?

Is the North ready for a black president? After traveling extensively in the North and South I don't think there is a real difference in which section would be more ready for a black president.

If the candidate were a conservative, pro-family, morally upright individual who stressed state and individual rights I don't think his/her colour would matter to the South.
