I think the positives of this board are those who know the Word so well and share it with others with boldness and also humility. I have learned a lot and have had a lot of things confirmed for me in my own walk. Thanks to all who share God's Word accurately! ;)

With over 3000 registered members I would presume there are many like myself, having very few posts but hardly letting a day go by without checking out "the board". If there is a thread running that is particularly interesting, I will usually check it before my e-mail. Watching the discussions of such members as Doc Cassidy, Chris T., Doctor Bob, Gina, and so many others, wondering how they will answer an issue, or sometimes knowing before they answer because I have read so many of their posts and know their doctrines and beliefs. But the real joy is learning. So many of you have made me think, research, and pray. You have shown me how to answer with confidence and facts when my beliefs are questioned. And when confronted with anger, RLVaughn, Rev. Josh, Clint, and many others have shown me how to answer with class. So I just wanted to let you know, there are many single and double diget posters out here that enjoy your discussions and bantering---and your witness.
    Thank You,
    Rob Ivers

I enjoy the variety of viewpoints expressed here--as well as the diversity of Baptists represented here. Independent fundies like Dr Bob Griffin; liberals like Joshua; conservative SBCers like TomVols, Chris Temple, Saggy Woman, and Miss Bobbie; and primative, sovereign gracers like ChangedLikeSaul; and centrists like Clint.

Having just returned from nearly a month of being "out of pocket" because of speaking obligations, I can truly say how much I missed the intellectual stimulation, the carefree banter, the spiritual prodding and digging and the actual "devotional" quality of the hour I usually spend on the BB each day.

Wow, someone who reads my posts on purpose. ;) Thanks LS!
And Dr. Bob....KNOCK IT OFF! I'm gonna be thinking about those scary little folk on that movie with their nasal voices all night now, thanks! And now that I'm thinking about my phobias, I may as well think about elbow macaroni too..
NICE TO HAVE YOU BACK!

Yes, elbow macaroni, hehe. I think I mentioned it a while back under phobias in the member section. :D I'm always afraid that there's going to be a bug or something icky inside. There's also a germ warfare theory, but I won't get into that now.
