    Some people came to Christ for the wrong reasons. They were fed, they were inquisitive, they were seeking to find fault, etc....
    Much like people go to different churches today for the same reasons, rather than the desire for salvation and to worship the Lord. Therefore, the scripture is pointing out the fact that we have a choice and God permits each one of us to choose life or to choose death.
