I have not attacked any fellow Bible Believing Christian with anything. Shame on Caner for espousing Arminianism and then slandering Christians as hyper-calvinists.

    You people just don't understand!

Joseph, evidently, has been given the gift of discernment. He, according to himself, has the ability to decide which beliefs are correct and which are heretical.

Don't you know that if you disagree with Joseph on matters of biblical interpretation, you must simply be another heretic.

Oh, I see. Well as long as he don't try to become the inquisitor general of the BB.

I didn't realize expressing an opinion and then providing evidence for that statement that Caner has a tendency to slander others was tantamount to being an inquisitor. So much for freedom of speech. Beware if you don't speak the "seeker sensitive" politically correct "truth". They'll brand you an extremist, you know. Or even worse, in the case of Caner, a hyper-calvinist.

So you believe that there is another way to heaven than through a saving faith in Jesus Christ? If you (or anyone) believed that I would consider them to be someone in need of having the gospel explained to them. In other words, I would not consider them to be saved. One serious problem with the church today is we've made it too easy to "become a Christian." All these people who have come in through the "wide gate" will find at the Judgement that they were seriously mistaken.

Daisy, Hope of Glory, rsr, and the others who voted that the god of Islam is the same as the God of the Bible, please explain to us how the Koran describes the same god as the biblical God.

    The facts are against you.

From the same link as above - Allah swears by the Koran, by the sky, by creation, and other things lesser than God.
The god of Islam is a false god. He is not the God of the Bible. Anyone want to change their mind? If not, please tell us how the god of Islam is the God of the Bible.

I realize that the word "Allah" means "God," but what I am saying is that the god of Islam, no matter what he is called, does not resemble the God of the Bible and is therefore a false god.

    Thanks, Wayne/El Guero! :flower:

I really would like someone who voted that these are the same God to explain why they say that. You can click on the blue numbers in the poll to see the names of those who voted and how they voted.

Such a basic concept as the deity of God and His Christ should not lead to a misunderstanding of the Triune God and His eternal purpose(s). IMHO. When someone confuses God and His Christ with satan and one of his many anti-christs . . . that tells me that someone is confused on much of their theology. And it implies a lot about their motivation.

Either God is the God He claims to be or He is not.

Again, thank you for your good post.

    God (the Jesus One) bless,

    Wayne

Well, it looks like none of the 7 is willing to explain how the god of Islam and the God of the Bible are one and the same. I will happily assume that they all have come to realize that the god of Islam is not the God of the Bible.

Really? Are you saying that there has been a change of belief? A change from a god of the Bible to the God of the Bible?

It almost seems that you believe that there is a repentance . . . .

Well, repentance comes before forgiveness . . . whether that be revival or salvation, forgiveness follows repentance.

Tell us your conclusion. Give me one "liberal" politician who actually came out and said that Christians and Muslims believe in the same god. No conclusion yet? I'm waiting.

    You couldn't tell I was speaking very tongue-in-cheek? :D

I was also trying to be provocative and maybe get one of the 7 to defend their view! Didn't work.

I pray that your words might let lose the Gospel like a lion and that it would do its work on their souls . . .

"W" made the mistake of getting in bed with the devil. He did it to keep the Islamic world from rising up against the USA, while bombing and shooting Muslims. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the Arab Emirates, et al, had to be held at bay. How to do that? Make the statements attributed to him, above. "W" is no doubt a Christian ~~ he weighed in the balance keeping Islam at bay, or making statements just the opposite of those he made, triggering Islamic wrath around the world. It's a narrow tightrope he is walking. No matter how hard he tries to keep everything together, he could slip, or that tightrope could break. What would you have done in his situation? What he did, or insult the Muslim world and trust God to handle it? Think of yourself in front of a firing squad. Do you spit at the shooters, or bribe them into not shooting? (Even Colin Powell was calling Islam a "great religion.") For those who demand separation of church and state, here is a classic example for them to chew on. Bush, the Christian, separates his faith from his politics. Hello?

Bush was just as wrong as his predecessor for getting in bed with the devil . . .

IMHO - but that opinion is based upon the theological fact that there is only ONE TRUE GOD and His prophet was not, is not, and will not be mohamed . . . His Son was, is, and always will be :jesus:!

PS for those that would think that politics should trump their theology . . .

    GOD trumps all others.

Politics will burn in _____ .

GOD will reign forever in HEAVEN.
