Look at the differences, there are many. Degrees of Holiness does not apply in this case. The Republicans stand for far more good than the Dems and if you can't see that...too bad....you're blind!

I most certainly did not say that Democrats could not be Christians. I said I could not see how if they have the knowledge of the differences between parties. It's like saying how could a Christian be a Morman.

I most certainly did not say Republicans are Holy, but now that you mention it. All Republicans who are Christians are holy.

Using your bent logic, dentists and a Holy God should not be in the same sentence.

If one's primary allegience is to the republican party or the democrat party, then, it surely would seem to one that it would be hard for a Christian to be in the opposite party.

If one's allegience is first to God, then it wouldn't even be a question.

    Hillclimber,
You need to stop reading rapture science fiction books and try the Bible, then try reading Romans the first few chapters and think of your politicians. Its time to look at things through a new frame of reference.

Nope. I'm real. It's just that God comes first, for me. That it seems unreal to you, might be a revelation worth exploring.

I've never read a rapture science fiction book. You got a recommendation? Oh I know these modern day politicians are weighed in the balance and found wanting, but the Demoncrats are wanting more. Just compare the published political platforms of each of them, and then defend the dems.

I am not about to defend either one of the godless parties. While your spelling of democrat is amusing, and probably quite true, the republicans are no better, pandering to Christian voters with nothing but self serving power in mind, on top of policy failure after policy failure.

No better? Oh, I think so. The Republicans are struggling for a Supreme Court that is willing to interpret the Constitution in its original form, and that alone is worth supporting the GOP.

But the issues of party division are vast and varied, not the least of which is abortion, and the socialistic national health care issue, and a myriad of other social programs the leftists want instituted, which cement their power. I remember Hillary's health care proposal that would have given the govt. control of 1/6 of our GDP. The founding fathers sure didn't have any of this in mind.

I am for one not going to be drawn into the facade of a democrat republican debate with you. If you see a difference between the two, that is your American right. As for the specific issues, such as abortion and other, I believe if you bothered to read the above posts, your concerns would be answered. If you follow republican actions, and believe they really care about the sanctity of life, and not their power by pandering to Christians, then I dont know where you go for help.

Lets face it, as you claim, if republicans really cared about abortion as you claim, and since they have had the executive, legislative, and judicial branch for six years, then sanctity of life would be the law of the land, wouldnt it? We could say the same for immigration control, balanced budgets, social security reform, medicare reform, competent leadership in Iraq, etc, etc, etc.

Democrats are worthless, so are republicans. The only thing I can conclude is being for something extremely evil over something totally evil. Time to wake up.

Regards to you, and I trust that God is blessing you and yours,

As soon as the SCOTUS is properly manned they will abolish this horrible massacre of the unborn. It can't be done till a majority of Supremes is there.

And lets face it SN, the Democratic platform is strictly FOR the murder of our most innocent, for birth control or any other reason. It's amazing to me that you can defend it

Oh please...Habeas corpus is a total non starter and everyone knows it. The threat of it is the tool you leftists have been using as some sort of tonic (cool aid) to soothe your defeated ('00' and '04') hearts. It's totally meaningless and useless against GWB. I'm continually amazed at you so called Christians that demonize a self professed Christian POTUS in times of war.

Boy oh boy just wait till we're in power, we'll throw that uneducated draft dodger in jail............you crack me up....

You misread and misinterpret. I despise abortion, and teach Sunday School and use it as an example of murder quite regularly. What amazes me is that you believe a republican party that has been in power quite some time and produced nothing, in abortion or an array of other issues. What amazes me is that an intelligent person like yourself believes people like Bush, Cheney, etc really care about abortion. They care about their self serving power.

The republicans have failed to lead and deserve to get thrashed next Tuesday. Democrats are just as worthless. Its time to start over, and it is time for you to wake up.
