Libyan Leader Mu'ammar Al-Qaddafi marking the anniversary of the U.S. air raid on Libya. The address aired on Al-Jazeera TV on June 11, 2008.

    Quotes from Qaddafi:
"There are elections in America now. Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a Muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia. His name is Obama.

"All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency."

"Our African Kenyan Brother [Obama]... Made Statements [About Jerusalem] That Shocked All His Supporters In The Arab World, In Africa, And In The Islamic World"

Finally there is a trustworthy source. He is a man whose words I can put my faith in.

    You have convinced me.

After all, he also said, in the link above:

'it [America] is a dictatorship no different than the dictatorships of Hitler, Napoleon, Mussolini, Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, and the rest of the tyrants. In the days of crazy Reagan, the American president issued a presidential order to launch a war against Libya, for example, a presidential order to besiege Libya, a presidential order to boycott Libya, and so on. Is this a democracy or a dictatorship?'

You win. With that authoritative source I now believe that Obama is a Muslim.

I understand not supporting Obama. I don't understand this continual attempt to make him out to be some kind of closet Muslim who had infiltrated American politics. Christians should tell the truth even if they are talking about the devil!

What I do not understand is the barrage of threads against Obama, some deserved and some not, and the free pass given to McCain and the Republicans. Their hands are just as blood soaked on the issue of abortion as the Democrats. All I have seen is thread after thread about Obama and his faith or his birthplace. What about McCain's faith?

I have no use for either of them. That is why I am voting for Chuck Baldwin.

    Did you see this video

It's refreshing to see the Republican party say they don't appreciate being associated with "your view".

It's refreshing to see a handful of muslims support McCain.

I took their actions to say being Muslim is not the same as being anti-American and they are tired of hearing that. So what if Obama is Muslim, would that make him any less eligible to take office?

    So it is cyclical.

Obama is bad because he is supported by bad Muslims. They prove they are bad because they support Obama.

McCain is good because he is supported by good Muslims. They prove they are good because they support McCain.

Do I have the reasoning down?

Using your logic, this must prove that McCain is obviously a closet Muslim.

Uh, no he doesn't. Read the transcript. He is convinced that Obama is going to be 'whiter than white.'

From the transcript in the OP.

    Does that sound like support?

I didn't say one way or the other. As far as I know, they could have been plants by some Saudi Arabia Wahabi group. Certainly, if they are muslim, they are misguided at the very least as far as their religion.

And yet another BB thread about Obama has been hijacked once again by his supporters.

    What??? I was quoting you!

Most of this thread has been about the Qadaffi statement and his supposed support of Obama.
