Yes it is blasphemy to state that Christ's Death in and of itself saved no one, unless they do something !

You reject salvation by Grace through Faith, not of works, and promote that one is saved by their works, something they perform !

It is blasphemy to say that Christ's death in and of itselfs saves! It is not merely unbiblical but out right blasmphemy against the Trinue God and Covenant of Redemption.

That is blasphemy of the worst type BECAUSE it denies both the work of the Father and the Holy Spirit as necessarily INCLUSIVE to save because you have isolated and separated the work of the Son and claimed that it is sufficient in and of itself to save when it is not!

It is unbiblical to separate and isolate One Person of the Godhead and claim their work is sufficient to save anyone apart from the other Two Persons and works of the Godhead. No Single Person and no Single Work by any Person of the Godhead is sufficient to save anyone "in and of itself"!

The work of Christ cannot save anyone apart from the application work of the Holy Spirit because God PURPOSED salvation is "THROUGH the santification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" and to deny that is to blaspheme the Eternal Covenant of Redemption known as the redemptiove "PURPOSE" of God.

SGM's whole soteriology rests upon three primary FALSE assumptions both of which are explicitly addressed in scriptures and repudiated by scriptures:

    1. God's Purpose was fulfilled in regard to applied REALITY outside of time - "I have purposed it, I WILL DO it."

    2. That God's purpose of salvation can be complete in any single Person or work in and of itself apart from the works of the other Two Persons of the Trinity.

    3. That the work of Christ in and of itself saves apart from the application work of the Holy Spirit - "God hath chosen you to salvation THROUGH the sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth."

No its not, it is Blasphemy to say it does not save in and of itself. All the saving fruit, like Faith and Repentance are only benefits and fruit of His Saving Death !

Jesus, speaking of His Death and it's effects says Jn 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Faith which is a Fruit of the Spirit, is Fruit out of Christ's Death, because the Spirit's work, all of it, is the Fruit of Christ's Death !

So to deny that Christ's Death IN AND OF IT SELF does not save, is BLASPHEMY !

Look at his words readers! SBM is claiming by the words "save in and of itself" that the covenant works of the Father and the Spirit are not necessary for your salvation as SGM says the work of Christ "SAVE IN AND OF ITSELF"! If he believe the works of the Father and Spirit were necessary to "save" us he could never say that the work of Christ is sufficient to "SAVE IN AND OF ITSELF." Paul denies this in Epheisians 1:4-14 and in 2 Thes. 2:13-14. The Whole Bible denies this rediculous statement.

What more evidence do we need to see his heresies?

    That's Right Jn 12:24

24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Again, SBM is denying the Father and denying the Spirit of God have any NECESSARY involvment in our salvation that without you cannot be saved! He claims that only the work of Christ is essential for our salvation as he claims it saves us "IN AND OF ITSELF."

What more evidence does one need to see that SBM's soteriology is straight from hell. Ephesians 1:4-14 denies that the work of Christ is sufficient all by itself "in and of itself" to redeem anyone, as the the work of the Father preceded it and made Christ's work possible and 2 Thessalonians 2:13 says that salvation is "THROUGH the sanctification of the Spirit" proving again that the work of Christ is not sufficient "in and of itself" to save as that is the same thing as making the silly conclusion that we can be saved IN our sins, and go to heaven UNGLORIFIED without NEW BIRTH.

The Father Gave the Son, and with Him, freely all things for Salvation, even the Spirit.

    Rom 8:32

32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

    Rom 5:5

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Christ gives the Spirit in Regenration Titus 3:3-6

    5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

The work of the Holy Spirit is the Fruit of Christ's Crowning Death ! So, you deny the work of Christ as being the sole cause of saving those He died for. You deny its fruit Jn 12:24

24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Do you realize here who Jesus is identifying as the corn of wheat, the it ?

Quit changing the subject! The Father gave a people to the Son, the Father elected the people, The Father through the Holy Spirit draws the people. The Spirit regenerates the people, sanctifies and glorifies the people and without the Father and Spirit's work the Son's work is NOTHING! One for Three and Three for One is necessary but you deny that as you claim the Son and his work alone is sufficient to save "IN AND OF ITSELF" which is a lie of the devil.

The subject has not been changed, you just reject the Saving effects [fruit]of Christ's Death ALONE !

And you call yourself a servant of Christ ? Better get real !

    Has Perfected forever !

Folks it is nothing but rank infidelity for one to teach against the Saving Merit of Christ's Death or Offering ! Heb 10:14

14For by one offering [His Obedience unto Death] he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

This one scripture alone should shut every opposing mouth that denies that Christ's Death, in and of itself, perfectly saved everyone Christ offered Himself in behalf of. This should shut the mouth's of all that False teaching that Christ died for every man without exception, even in light of scriptures like Heb 2:9. Simply put, everyone Christ died for has been perfected once and for all before God's Law and Justice. The word perfected is the greek word Teleioo and means:

    to make perfect, complete

    a) to carry through completely, to accomplish, finish, bring to an end

    2) to complete (perfect)

    a) add what is yet wanting in order to render a thing full

    b) to be found perfect

    3) to bring to the end (goal) proposed

    4) to accomplish

    a) bring to a close or fulfillment by event

    1) of the prophecies of the scriptures

The Law has been perfectly fulfilled for them by Christ ! Also the word perfected here is in the perfect indicative, meaning it is True, it has occurred, and it was completed in then past once and for all, never needing to be repeated.

And all those He Perfected forever, are being sanctified continuously, they are always in a sanctified state, even in the womb, as God told Jeremiah 1:5

5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Yes, as Jeremiah had to still be born a sinner, and by nature, a child of wrath as others, so it is with everyone Christ died for, they are born sanctified and set apart for the Holy Purpose of God. Christ's Death, because it has perfected forever those He died for, it also secured for them every spiritual blessing they need to experimentally conform to that Perfection secured them in the Death of Christ. It secured a New Spiritual Birth, Faith and everything for a Life of Godliness 2 Pet 1:1-3

1Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

All of this is given because of the Death of Christ and the Fruit it bore to the Glory of God and to the saving of the Church ! Anyone not understanding this, has no business Preaching Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, and does not have enough sense to Know that by it, [ His Crucifixion] alone, it secured a Full Salvation and bestows it upon, everyone He died for, HIS DEATH ALONE + NOTHING !

If salvation is by "his death alone and nothing" then you believe in universalism, and the result is a denial of hell and everyone is going to heaven, including Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Osama Ben Laden, and so many others. You believe you will have fellowship with all those murderers in heaven.

But if his death, his atoning sacrifice must be appropriated, by faith by each individual who comes to Him, then salvation is for all those that believe on him, as the Scripture says.

Every text that you quote to prove your point that Christ's death was sufficient to save the elect is based not merely upon Christ's work but equally upon the work of both the Father and the Holy Spirit. There would be no redeemer if the Father had not sent Him. There would be no redemption if the Spirit did not apply it to the elect. The truth is that God has "chosen you TO salvation THROUGH the sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" but you deny that and call Paul a liar because your false doctrine would reword that text to say, "God hath chosen you to salvation through Christ's redemptive work IN AND OF ITSELF."

So for you to say that the work of Christ ALONE saves "IN AND OF ITSELF" is absurdly false and Unbibical as the Bible teaches no such salvation that EXCLUDES the redemptive work of both the Father and the Spirit.

Look at John 5:24 - "Verily I say unto whosoever believeth IN HIM THAT SENT ME hath everlasting life"

Jn. 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

To claim that Christ's part of redemption saves "IN AND OF ITSELF" is heresy as you deny "salvation is of the Lord" and the term "Lord" which is inclusive of more than the Second Person of the Godhead.

Your conscience is seared by demonic doctrines - 1 Tim. 4:1-2 that in reality deny Jesus Christ and the great salvation provided by God and turn it into a mockery of God's grace and a perversion of the everlasting covenant of grace.
