Featured Literalism is a fatal disease

    How about when same people compare it as being 'dry and wooden?"

    Think much of the problem is around concept of what it means to take bible 'literal fashion"

    My take on it is to just take the Bible in a plain and intended way, to look at scripture and intreprete based upon the literary styles, context, grammar, background etc...

    best and classic example is isreal/Jew as used in both Testaments...

    is there a clear command/example when the scriptures changed meaning on what those terms meant in the Bible?

    or does one change their meaning based upon the theology one has adopted?
