In the light of the attention the LCP (Liverpool Care Plan) is attracting in the media, what can we are carers and/or patients do to protect ourselves and our loved ones from what I can only understand as legalised murder?

The LCP was/is intended to be a treatment for end of life care, but there are many who are seeing it as a form of euthanasia. Therefore, if we make living wills which do not accept the LCP, will these wills be honoured?

How should we be treating people with terminal illnesses and how can we make sure our loved ones are not put on the LCP against our/their wishes?
