I live in an RV. I can't say I own it; the bank does. I simply pay them for the privilege to live here. If I miss my payments, I would find out very quickly how much I don't own it.

I voted "I own a home". Like Jon-Marc, the bank owns "my" home.

We own a home. We were blessed a few years ago with being able to pay off the mortgage so that we could continue to live here. LOL Now the taxes are another thing....

I said "own something else" because technically what we have is a townhome.

Kind of a scandalous situation here. I moved in to a house with our church's preschool Sunday School director a while back. She and I live together. Pretty scandalous for a Baptist, huh?

oh yeah...we bought our house 10 years after getting married.

I voted "I own a home". But until the mortgage is paid off, technically my building society owns it.

We always called it parsonage. Pastorium sounds like a fancy term for where the cows graze.

Parsonage here. It's interesting, having 30 different landlords at once. . .

"Parsonage", like "vicarage", tends to be used here for the home of a clergyman of the Church of England. A baptist pastor is very unlikely to be called a parson or vicar, but his home is normally referred to, not as a "pastorage" or "pastorium" but as the "manse".

I had to vote other, because I could only choose one.

We own a house, along the the bank, but until it is repaired from the fire we are living in an apartment where the rent is paid by my homeowners insurance.
