There is only one real church and that is all of the true believers in the Lord Jesus. The local church is not the tabernacle of God, the believers are the tabernacle(s) of God.

Gotcha, Watchman. So Sunday, I'll meet with the other believeres of my universal non-local church, sing with them, preach to them, pray with them, and then fellowship with my universal, non-local church members around a non-localized table, drinking coffee and Japanese green tea, talking non-locally about the Lord.

With God, we're all "individual Children", given "individual NAMES", and like "Children" we're all different,

Just because I "disobey", God doesn't "Chastise" the "whole family", (church) just me.

The "candlestick" is the "LIGHT", or "Spirit" to the "family", individually, we can/do "quench the Spirit", (light) when we stray.

When the "EARTH" gets between the "SUN" (Son)and "MOON" (church) a "DARKNESS" comes over the "Moon",

our light is only "reflected light" from the Son, and when we let the "world" get between us/Son, our light goes "OUT", but even a "dark moon" is still a "moon".

This is an age old argument that will certainly not be settled in this forum. There are too many verses that both sides of the issue use for their own interpretation. We will not agree on what the Baptism of the Spirit is. We will not agree that the word ecclesia is always a gathered assembly at a certain point in time. We will not agree that the word church is always referring to a local gathered assembly. That is just the way it will have to be until we reach heaven and receive instruction from the Lord.

    Amen Mike,

In the meantime I voted both. No debate just what I believe.
