Les Misérables, a little over 2 hours so I am not sure if that warrants long.

Gone with the Wind. The Swiss Family Robinson is kind of long, too. (The old Disney version)

The running time of Swiss Family Robinson is 2 hrs. and 6 min. not all that long except fot he fact it is a Disney movie and most Disney movies only run about 90 min.

    From Saggy's list:

Fiddler on the Roof - LOVE IT! Have it on dvd, great way to spend a few hours.

Seen The Green Mile, Dances With Wolves (Costner...YUCK!), Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ.

Have Abraham, Moses, and David mini-series on dvd, all about 3 hours each. Also have The Ten Commandments, The Greatest Story Ever Told & King of Kings.

But come on people, for long movies how could THE LONGEST DAY be forgotten? ;)

Ben Hur, though it is mostly boring.

John Wayne's The Alamo-- 192 minutes (director's cut) on the version TCM has shown, while the DVD's for retail are 160 minutes. I like the movie, but it is too much conjecture.
