[IMG] Hi! I am an ordained minister who has come to some firm beliefs about the Sabbath. I would like to talk with [IMG] any Seventh Day Baptists who would like to help me learn more about their denomination. Contact me on AOL/AIM as "TolkyPurple" and on Yahoo! Instant Messenger as "tolkypurple" Thanks!

Question for SDB's. Real one, not a "jab". Other than the obvious "Seventh Day" distinction, are there any other differences between y'all and say your typical IFCA type Baptist. CLICK HERE

Why not just join the 7th Day Adventists or the Messianic groups?

    Cheers,

    Jim

Artimaeus, I checked your site out which seems to be quite extensive. I would suggest that there are a number of things in common there. Your best bet is to check out http://www.seventhdaybaptist.org/

    Jim1999,

Seventh Day Adventist have major doctrinal differences to Baptists, including compulsary belief in Soul Sleep of the Dead. They teach that the Archangel Michael is Jesus thus a Trinity of four and several other teachings that conflict with Baptist Teaching. As well as the writings of Ellen G White are taken as scripture by a section of the church.

Messianic fellowships are good people, Yet you cannot lump them all into one basket, there are many denominations between them also.
