Hello, all. I'm trying to remember a song that I heard years ago. The only lyrics I remember are "there will be no crying (or maybe dying) over there." It was sung by two or more guys. It is not No More Night or Soon and Very Soon. The style is reminiscent of Limpic and Rayburn. I'm guessing it was late 60s or early 70s.

Can you remember what kind of music it was?
    Country?
    Bluegrass?
    Rock?

None of the above. I would call it a folk music sound. I don't remember anything specific about the instrumentation, but probably a guitar. I think that one of the guys had been active in the Jesus Movement music.

    The Walls Group Lyrics
    "On The Other Side"

    Oh oh oh oh oh
    Everybody clap your hands
    Oh oh oh oh oh

Ain't no use in crying, it'll be alright
Ain't no use in worrying, cuz it'll be okay
You may not understand what you're going through
But I've got real good news just for you

See, you got a home on the other side
I said you've got a home on the other side

    Oh oh oh oh oh
    Come on, come on

I turn on the TV and I flip to the news
There is tragedy everywhere, what has it all come to
The world is going crazy and I pray
That God will show us some mercy everyday

But see, we got a home on the other side
See, we got a home on the other side, side

Will you meet me there, will you meet me there
Will you meet me there, will you meet me there
I've got a home on the other side

    Now everybody repeat after me
No more worries (no more worries)
No more pain (no more pain)
No more trials (no more trials)
No more rain (no more rain)
I'll be alright (I'll be alright)
I'll be okay (I'll be okay)
    Over there (over there)
    Over there

Will you meet me there, will you meet me there
Will you meet me there, will you meet me there
I got a home on the other side
I got a home on the other side
I got a home on the other side
I got a home on the other side

No more, no more worries (no more worries)
No more pain (no more pain)
No more trials (no more trials)
No more rain (no more rain)
I'll be alright (I'll be alright)
I'll be okay (I'll be okay)
    Over there (over there)
    Over there

All will be well (all will be well)
    Over there (over there)
All will be good (all will be good)
    Over there (over there)
The sun will shine (the sun will shine)
    Over there (over there)
    Over there (over there)
    Over there (over there)

    I've got a mansion (got a mansion)
    Over there (over there)
    I've got a mansion (got a mansion)
    Over there (over there)
    I got a home (got a home)
    Over there (over there)
    Over there (over there)
    Will you meet me there

I wanna go (I wanna go)
    Over there (over there)
I wanna go (I wanna go)
    Over there (over there)
All the cares of the world (over there)
They will be erased (over there)
    Over there (over there)
    Over there

Oh I wanna see him and look upon his face
That I'll sing forever of his saving grace
On the streets of glory let me lift my voice
All my cares are past, all my past
    Ever to rejoice

No, that's not the one. Similar subject, though.

    Another try

    https://www.lyricsbox.com/jackson-southernaires-no-tears-in-heaven-lyrics-w238pll.html

    Jackson Southernaires Lyrics
    "No Tears In Heaven"

    No tears in heaven
    No crying in glory
All of God's children will be happy
    Don't you see, see

    No pain and sorrow
    No more worrying about tomorrow
No tears in heaven, for you and me

I believe we all said it one more time
There will be no tears in heaven
    No crying in glory
All of God's children will be happy
    Don't you see, see

    No pain and sorrow
    No more worrying about tomorrow
No tears in heaven for you and me

No more, no more getting up and going to work on Monday
No more waiting, waiting to fight for our faith
No more bill collectors, knocking at our door
Because we will live with Jesus, forever more

There will be no tears in heaven
    No crying in glory
All of God's children will be happy
    Don't you see, see

    No pain and sorrow
    No more worrying about tomorrow
No tears in heaven for you and me

One more thing I want to tell you
No more, going to school, to learn what the writers have said
    Thank you, Lord
    No more robbing and killing

Oooh, we won't have to be afraid
I'm waiting on that day, when we won't have to weep and moan
Because we will live happily with Jesus
    Somewhere all around the throne
Oooh, there will no more doctors and hospitals
No more medicines will we seek
    No more sickness and dying
    Oh, we live eternally
And I know that every day will be a happy
You know why, God said He would wipe all my tears away

Oooh, there will be no tears in heaven
    No crying in glory
All of God's children will be happy
    Don't you see, see

    No pain and sorrow
    No more worrying about tomorrow
No tears in heaven for you and me
This song is from the album "Made In Mississippi".

    J. Kelly Harper, the line you mentioned made me think of "Heaven's Bright Shore." Here are some the words:

Out on the hills of gloryland
So happy and free at God's right hand,
They tell of a place of marvelous grace
    On heaven's bright shore(on heaven's bright shore);
Pilgrims on earth someday will go
To live in that land forever more
Trusting in Him who died for sin,
And rose from the grave (and rose from the grave).

On heaven's bright shore (on heaven's bright shore),
There'll be no dyin' (over there)
Not one little grave (not one little grave),
In all that fair land (that wonderful land).
Not even a tear will dim the eye,
And no one up there will say goodbye
Just singing His praise through endless days
On Heaven's bright shore (on heaven's bright shore).

I think it may have been the Inspirations I first heard sing it. Here is a rendition by Alison Kraus and Ralph Stanley.

This one has: no care...no mourning...no burdens...over there.

"Soon and very soon we are going to see The King." It's an Old hymnal song.
