Activist lawyer Lynn Stewart got 28 months, as opposed to the 30 years the prosecutors wanted, for defrauding the government.

This lowlife deserved life in prison.

She aided a terrorist...scumbag sheik Omar Abdel Rahman. On February 10, 2005, Lynne Stewart was convicted of helping terrorists by smuggling messages of violence from Rahman to his terrorist disciples on the outside. These actions resulted in the death of some 100 tourists at Egyptian resorts. Also found in her law offices: a draft fatwa from Rahman calling on jihadists to kill Americans and their children until his release is won.

But because she was a good gal in previous years, then her traitorous actions earned her a slap on the wrist.

Pathetic. If a single American dies from her actions, she should get the death penalty.

    She got off light.

Makes me wonder about the impartiality of the judge.

She compromised America's security against terrorism. Who does she think she is, George W. Bush?

Where did you get the bolded info? The article quotes the judge as saying her actions didn't result in violence.

Michelle Malkin talks about this case a great deal as well (more analysis & commentary than reporting).

The way things are going, I'm quite sure if this woman was a threat, she'd be whisked away.
