Jacko Kicked Out, Cut Off by Arab Prince

Today will be the seventh week in a row that employees at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch have not received paychecks.

And now I have really bad news for them: Jackson has been cut off and kicked out by Prince Abdullah, son of the King of Bahrain. He is no longer, I repeat, not doing it anymore — not funding Jackson, his kids and nanny in an extended stay in Bahrain.

The first clue that this was the case was Jackson's traveling last week from Bahrain to Germany, and then on to Italy — on commercial flights in business class. There was no more private plane.

But now I'm told that the prince has been informed by his family, the al-Khalifa clan, that Jackson is no longer welcome to unlimited generosity from the Bahraini royals.....

Jackson doesn't have his own money? He was being kept by Prince Abdullah? Man, I'm out of the loop.

    What's wrong with business class?

    ;)

I think MJ owns a ton of Beatle's music and lots of others, and a grip on that may be what Sony has, or wants. I read somewhere that his music holdings could be worth half a billion.

saturneptune, this is the very kind of thing that might win jeopardy one day.

I thought it was an interesting little tidbit to read about.

Let's step back and take a breather.

It certainly is not Christlike to get huffy because one disagrees with another.

Some how I don't see this as a political discussion. Unless, one takes issue with Mr. Jackson's insistence on being called The King of Pop.

As for the rest, threats and intimidation will not be tolerated on Baptist Board.

To all. My words here were not Christlike. No excuses offered. Forgiveness pleaded. However, I won't apologize for the O/P.

Squire, this is both news and current events. I believe it is in the correct forum. If you know my history here, you will know that I post up hundreds of articles a year, most very serious, some silly.

I want to apologize to the thread, moderators, adminstrators, and to those who were distracted by this incident. I also want to apologize to Bro Curtis. This goes back to another thread about politics and the political parties. I took what he said wrong, and let my feelings get out of control. So, Bro. Curtis, I beg your forgiveness, and will do better in the future. This is certainly not becoming of my witness, hope you will forgive me and take me off ignore.

Going thru your posts, I find myself in agreement with a lot of them. It's too bad we got off on such a bad foot, but that happens.

It's like it never happened, as far as I'm concerned.

I appreciate that comment very much. The whole thing caused me to toss and turn all night, which is a pretty good indicator I was wrong. Thanks again. Well, back to work.

Well, I didn't feel that good about the whole thing, either. But I had to work last nite, and didn't get home until very late.

Anyhoo, like I said, my words were fuel to a hot flame. I'm just as much to blame.

Both of your apologies are accepted, IMO. Thanks to both of you. The incident never happened in my book - clean slate.
