    No politician is going to come right out and state they want us all disarmed. You know that. That's why you worded the question the way you did. I've been listening to these anti gunners a long time. They want us all disarmed whether they come right and say so or not. Besides Obama is a proven liar. He straight up lied to you didn't he?

    With the administrations tacit pre-approval- the law that Nancy Pelosi filed today.

    She said the bill she and her colleagues are introducing would bar the "sale, transfer, manufacture and importation" of assault weapons. It would also ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

    If we cannot buy or sell the weapons then- yes, they are disarming (and criminalizing) law-abiding citizens. They also seek to limit the size of the magazines, which would make me a criminal because my guns all hold over 10 rounds.

    It's just a sneaky way of taking away our constitutional rights.

    DC Has Been Waiting For Sandyhook....

    ....the events at Sandyhook are what the government, and those against the second amendment have been waiting many decades for. To disarm America has always been the goal of politicians, I just don't know how far back this goal goes.

    I do know that I heard a speaker say, maybe forty years ago now, that the government would use the escalating violence of guns to sway public sentiment to banning guns.

    I don't think they are completely there yet, but as these massacres continue, the majority of citizens will one day lay down their arms without a fight.

    What I find funny is that the Prez says we don't need guns to protect us, but he's not willing to disarm the Secret Service, FBI and CIA.. :BangHead:

    Use New Jersey as your microcosm. Everything is banned except shotguns (for hunting). You can not go into a gun store & even hold one & examine it without a permit. Of course there is still the criminal element holding up stores, gas stations, Walmarts, shoot cops etc. Wonder who gave them the permit to carry! Bottom line...this is all BS.
