Who do you think will be in the final four this year?

    How about the tournament champs?

Illinois and North Carolina look awful tough...and I would not count out Duke and Kansas....but I am sure there will be atleast one surprise team as well. It is going to be great! This is one of my favorite times of the year in the sports world.

Looks like we're in for a wild ride again this year. Looks like Illinois would be considered the favorite; but the other three spots are up for grabs.

I'll wait for the brackets to make a prediction, but I think Kansas is heading for a 2nd round exit from the tournament.

Agree with cc - I think Kansas is an early exit. As a Big 10 guy, I've got to go with the Illini, but this year there are realistically a dozen or more teams that could be in the final four. Should be a real bracket-busting tournament.

I'm a Big East fan, but I think that N. Carolina has the best team. UConn is playing well, but this year there doesn't seem to be a dominant team out there. I see a lot of parity since the best teams always have their best players leave early for the NBA. Look at all the upsets alreay in the conferance tournaments.

With the way the brackets are set up it looks like my Badgers will be the ones who have the privilege to usher the Jayhawks out of the dance. [IMG]

I think Illinois will make a good run, but I would not be surprised by an upset. I'm picking North Carolina run away with it all.

Wisconsin and Arizona, possibly Louiville will make deep runs too.

Two 4th seed sleepers. The Florida Gaters and the team that got jobbed in the drawings, Louisville Cards.

I hope we see a lot of upsets and cinderella teams advance....but it would also not surprise me to see an Illinois and UNC championship game between the 2 best teams going into the tourney. No doubt about it, it is going to be fun!

I can see Illinois, UNC, and Louisville all making it, but I dont see MSU making it to the final four...they might make a Sweet 16 run, but thats about it.

Oklahoma St, Wake forest, North Carolina, and Kentucky

Kentucky defeats Oklahoma State for the championship

(Did you notice where I am from) Not winning is not even considered until after the fact and even then we figure it must be a bad dream.

Kentucky could not even win the SEC tourney, I do not think they are going to win the NCAA tourney. :D

Kentucky does some nice things during the season, but hasn't done anything in the tournament for a few years now. I suspect it's because they don't have the stud players the NCAA that they used to, and Tubby Smith is such a great coach that he makes up for those deficiencies during the season. But, everything that's wrong with your team is magnified in the tournament, hence Kentucky's early demise.

Or else I'm all wet. Feel free to make your own choice. [IMG]

Ah, Artimaeus, it's time to move into reality. Kentucky's dominance in basketball is indeed a thing of the past. Still a good team, but final four material? No. (I know, you're praying that I'll have to eat my words [IMG] ).

One of these years a #16 seed is going to knock off a #1 seed.....and I cannot wait to see it.
