Because they are not turning in their enemies . . . They go to the slaughter like sheep.

The Shiites and the Sunnis regard each other as enemies. They are killing each other, not turning each other in.

    Bombing

Another fine example of the peace loving brethren that the religion of Islam breeds. Reminds me of the flesh eating bacteria that emaciates the human body only to kill itself in the end.

What makes you think they are not?

As far as I can tell the Shiite extremists are trying to ensure a Shiite Iraq, the Sunni extremists are trying to ensure a Sunni Iraq, the Kurds in general are trying for a Kurdistan while everyone else is trying to stay alive and intact.

I thank God (and I know most Iraqis must thank our soldiers) that our soldiers do not take your attitude on taking responsibility.

I'm totally bewildered as to what you think taking responsibility means if not fighting for your chosen cause.

It is sooooo true that I did say once that I agreed with YOU ONCE . . .

I doubt that you will say something normal enough to get me to say anything that strange again . . .

Who do you think is fighting over there? Do you think the resistance to the occupation is all imported?

And you can't have a civil war without the participation of the citizens, by definition.

A corps group derived from 20,000 criminals released by saddam days before he fell and augmented by a an elite corps of his former mind control police.

These indigenous criminals are augmented by a small group of foreign 'freedom fighters' (terrorists - indcluding a small number of iranian advisors) for a total core group of terrorists at about 40,000 troops. These 40,000 are given tacit support by the natives because the natives do not have a clue what to do. They are from a culture that has never allowed the freedom to dissent. Not being able to dissent, they find it difficult to understand what is going on and even worse how to combat it. These 40,000 are given significant support by the warlords. The warlords cause significant difficulties because they are not directly part of the problem.

So who do I think is fighting over there? Terrorists and American soldiers. Terrorists and Iraqi soldiers. Terrorists and Iraqi police.

Civil wars are not the domain of criminals and terrorists. Civil wars are the domain of those oppressed by an evil regime - the Iraqis under saddam for example.

You see: you keep confusing the war on terror with what you call a civil war; you confuse the two because they are the same; the terrorists and the desire for WMD that you continue to claim was not there - is acting daily as that evil attacks American soldiers and the Iraqis that fight to defend our way of life.

You see a criminal that you want to call a 'resistance' fighter - I see a criminal subversive in terrorist organizations that swear that they will destroy our way of life.
