Why do you find it strange?

It fits his profile and you support him.

I certainly don't support his statement. And if he keeps making statements like this one then my support for him may very well go by the wayside.

Not that I think that my vote will matter in Arkansas anyway. Senator John Sidney McCain III has Arkansas pretty well locked up, even more so if he picks Mike Huckabee as his running mate - which is what I think he will do.

Well, its pretty simple. I will most likely end up voting for Bob Barr, especially since I doubt that Arkansas will be in play. However, unless the American people rally to Mr. Barr he won't come close to winning. If Mr. Barr doesn't win, then I want Senator Obama to win.

I take it that discernment is not really one of your Christian gifts.

How could you actually support him and not know his statement is perfectly in line with everything else about him?

Since I never intended to vote for him, I may drive my SUV to Wendy's tonight and get fries with my burger.

It's still kind of cool in NC though. NO air yet.

Instead of trying to link Obama to Islam, we should simply put these statements of his out there. Who needs innuendo, when the truth is plenty scary enough?

That's the way I look at it also.....Just let these leftists keep talking up socialism, and the empty slogan "change", and let it speak.
Problem is the general population seems indifferent or undiscerning, and seems to accept empty rhetoric.

I can't afford an SUV or a hamburger and I certainly can't afford to keep my thermostat sat at 72º year round! :(

    Uh huh.

But that's your choice to make. You don't need the permission of the "world" to eat what you want , drive what you want, or set your thermostat.

Obama, a man running for president of the U.S., thinks you do.

And if he's elected president you'll see limits like this too. It'll still cost you, you won't have a big car, a hamburger or 72 degrees in your house, but you will pay for it anyway, the money will go for others to have what you don't. And not in our country.

I just received an email from a tree hugging group complaining about oil and polar bears... blah, blah, blah....

Here is what I wrote back:
Please take me off of your mailing list...
I find you tree hugging, penguin loving, Polar bear propagating types abominable!

Where is the fight to save the human species by stopping abortion...
You all care more about a Polar Bear that is increasing by numbers every yr, than helping humans...

We need the oil to help people in this country.
The rising price of Gas is forcing the poor (HUMANS) to make decisions that are leaving children starving.

I really don't care about a frog in the Amazon when I see people around me hurting because you environmentalists are trying to take away our freedoms by hollering "the sky is falling.. the sky is falling!"

    Just had to vent!
Take me off this mailing list....

I have gone out of my way to NOT buy eco friendly products... I will NOT recycle...
And my slogan is "Stop Global warming... turn up the air conditioning!"

I wish I would have added, "The earth will freeze over before I give one red cent to your cause"

You are soo right... It is apparent that he doesn't appreciate our way of life in America... He should move.

We have our freedoms... and men and women have given their lives for our freedoms.. .but he worries about what other nations think about us more than appreciating and honoring the armed forces...

Instead of worrying what my AC is on, he should worry about keeping his wife's mouth shut so he doesn't have to get all up in the air because someone calls her what she is...
