The news this morning is that Pawlenty and Romney will not be chosen. I can't see him picking Lieberman. That leaves his good friend, and pro-choice on abortion, Tom Ridge.

Christian conservatives who support, or are thinking about supporting, John McCain may be about to have a meltdown.

Or maybe pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, anti-gambling Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin?

According to her office, Governor Palin is in Alaska today.

"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, a self-styled "hockey mom" who has only been governor for a little over a year, is GOP Presidential candidate John McCain's choice for Vice President, CNBC has learned."

Wow! John McCain naming someone with less experience than Senator Obama? I find that hard to believe, but maybe that is what will happen.

If she is his pick then they had best vetted her well enough since she is hardly known by anyone.

If they did they were wrong. But I suspect the reporting was wrong because news was changing so fast. I think we will find out that it was Pawlenti's because he was the one going to the state fair.

    Yes, they shouldn't have.

But what's news here? That Ken's wrong. ... Oh wait, I guess something that happens all the time really isn't news ... :D

Ken, have you figured out that you're not a good political prognosticator yet?

    I merely offered a possibility, not a prediction. :)

Actually she has more experience than Obama in the Executive branch of government.. he is legislative...

    Good pick...

    McCain used his head...

If you are a woman... and supported Hillary, who would you vote for now?

(Not asking if Ken is a woman... just talking in general!! )
