Messianic Jew Family Story

    Here's a 9 min documentary from Israeli TV about Messianic Jews. The interviews with the family and their hymns blessed me and reminded me that proselytizing is illegal in Israel and Messianic Jews suffer a lot of persecution.

    It's a Youtube/Google Video page. Just as a warning, there is some very bitter anti-Christian ranting on the comments section of the page that you may wish to avoid if that sort of thing offends you. It's this way with pretty much anything Christian on Youtube and similar sites.

    Jesus was a Jew. The Apostles were Jews. The writers of the New Testament, save for Luke, were Jews. The first New Testament church (already in heaven) was Jewish.

    Small wonder there should be those who call themselves Messianic Jews from then to now.

    Remember the past tese, "were" jews but were Christians at the time of their writings.
