    Me who has always just been a baseball fan is becoming a minor league hockey fan.

    We have gone to 4 games of the Rockford Ice Hogs who are the Blackhawk's affiliate in the AHL.

    My question is are there any other AHL fans out there?

    You might say I root for the Syracuse Crunch, though I have never been to a game. Its tough with my schedule. But I may try again to get to one this year.

    How far are you from a AHL TEAM

    I am a big fan of the Knoxville Ice Bears, defending SPHL champs. We try to get to a few games every year. It's a tough ticket. We ususally lead the league in attendance. Hockey is very popular in this area.

    I also kinda keep up with my old hometown Cincinnati Cyclones.

    That would be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG drive even for a playoff game, but we certainly could talk some trash about how great our team is.

    Chicago Wolves fan here.

    Haven't been to a game yet, but I hope to get to one or two this season. Just been following them on cable.

    Slightly off topic if I may, in years past, we could joke that there was only one professional hockey team in Chicago; the Wolves. It's nice to see the Blackhawks playing so well so far this season.

    Watching the Mobile Mysticks back in the 90's got me into hockey. WIchita Falls Wild Cats is a junior league team where I live. We go to the games but unfortunitly they have not given us much to cheer about!
