Ituttut: I use the KJV 1611 version translated from the Textus Receptus, as that is what I was brought up on. For in depth study use Literal Bible with Strong numbers, Darby, and Weymouth’s; ISV, Thompson New Testament, and Williams New Testament.

    Fine...Your choice.

Usually when all the study is done, I find the KJV is just fine as any mistranslation, in my view, is allowed by the Holy Spirit to confuse the confused.

    Scripture, please?

God is NOT the author of confusion! That IS Scripture!

I’ll not discuss Easter here on this thread, but it was inserted and allowed to stand by the Holy Spirit for a purpose.

    Christian faith, ituttut

That's why I started this new thread, Sir. I'd like to see what you believe His purpose was, and upon what you base such a belief...in the face of an older Bible, the Geneva, saying "Passover", as do the newer versions.

To prove that the NIV is not 100% accurate in every verse?

To prove that the NASB is not 100% accurate in every verse?

To prove that the CEV is not 100% accurate in every verse?

To prove that the NKJV is not 100% accurate in every verse?

To prove that the TEV is not 100% accurate in every verse?

    And more....

Is it not possible that Easter was left in the KJV from the Bishops' Bible? There are other renderings in the 1611 edition of the KJV that later editors changed or corrected that were kept from the Bishops' Bible.

Would you say that the Holy Spirit allowed passover to stand in the Geneva Bible at Acts 12:4 for a purpose? The translators of the Geneva Bible, who were likely more sound in their doctrinal views than were the later Church of England translators of the KJV, were guided by the Holy Spirit in the same way claimed for the KJV translators.

</font>[/QUOTE]It is a proven fact that the KJV is not 100% accurate. As a Christian I find it hard to believe that members of the KJVO camp refuse to accept truth which disproves their KJVO theories, rather electing to adhere to the untruths that form the basis for the KJVO myth. I pray for all of you, that maybe in some way God can show you the errors of the KJVO myth, and that you may come to accept the truth rather than the myth...

Can you prove that the NKJV is not more accurate than the KJV at some verses?
