So what do you think? Doesn't seem like the majority want to really fight this fight?

As usual Rob Marus who wrote this article has an ax to grind and writes in a way that favors his bias. Before he left Missouri he was a spokesperson for the Mainstream Missouri Baptists Organization which was opposed to the conservative resurgence in the state's convention.

Since he's a member of the Baptist Board maybe he'll come on and explain what's really going on here in Missouri. Since he doesn't live here anymore I'm sure he has all his facts straight and got them from the horse's mouth.

The Convention will vote to continue the lawsuit at the annual meeting. There will be some opposition as there always is in every Baptist meeting but the case will go on.

The decision to use CP dollars is fine with most people I know. They recognize that it's always been with CP dollars and the state convention has no money that didn't come from the Churches in the first place.

What is the difference between paying the Orkin man to spray the Baptist Building for roaches than paying for a lawyer to protect the assets of Missouri Baptists?

Missouri Baptists are smart enough to know there is none.
