Isn't it interesting that nobody here is talking about Monica Goodling's testimony yesterday? In fact, a review of the Drudge Report didn't have a story yesterday when I checked, and there is one story buried in the third column at the time I posted this.

    Amazing...........

    Regards,
    BiR

Could be because it doesn't matter what she says.

They were hired by the Bush Administration and they can be fired by it. For any reason or no reason at all.

Sorry for the delay in replying to you - it's been a VERY busy Memorial-Day Weekend here in the Commonwealth.

If you have read or watched the testimony, and you still TRULY believe that there was "nothing wrong done," then I really can't help you. It's right there in her testimony. If you HONESTLY think that there was "nothing wrong done," then nothing I could ever write would change your opinion.

    Regards anyway,
    BiR

More vague accusations without explanation and no will to stand behind them. But the accusations sound good. Go with that.

This bizarre response doesn't surprise me.......
An "If/Then" statement is not an accusation.
    [Actually, TWO "If/Then" statements.]

It's not 2Timothy that needs help and it's doubtful you could provide it if he did.

One could say that "If you have read or watched the testimony, and you still TRULY believe that there was " wrong done," then I really can't help you."

    See how easy that was.:type:

I don't want to watch the testimony. You are making the accusation, and it could be true, but to buckle to a challenge isn't a very good way to convince me.

Don't call us stupid (which is what that statement says, even if you deny it). Don't condescend and tell us we're beyond help. Man up.

So, rather than read the testimony or exercising some critical thinking, you simply are going to defer to what I am saying? Wow...

Bro. Curtis, that is NOT TRUE. I never utilized the word "stupid," and you know it. This is textbook Rush Limbaugh: the idea that liberals believe you are stupid. I didn't say it, nor did I imply it. Let's not resort to bearing false witness.

In some respects, you are confirming what I am actually implying when I write that some among us are beyond my help........

    Genuine Regards anyway,
    BiR

The odds are, if I watch it, I'll be using my eyes & ears, and simply will not see it the way you do. I want you to tell me what she did wrong, and I'll be glad to look at it. But I'm not going to watch this video.

No, I don't know it. All I know is you are being challenged, and your response is to tell people they are beyond help. Seems like you are calling us stupid, because it's easier than articulating your feelings about this Gooding girl. Don't play word games. What else is "beyond help" supposed to mean ?

    That is your choice....

    I was being challenged?
Go back and read what I wrote:

Now, what exactly is the challenge? I asked a question. My question was answered with a question. Since it was answered with a question, I responded in kind.

Now, to state that I am saying something when I very clearly didn't use the word is pure foolishness. I have not called anyone stupid, and yet that is what you deduced from my comments despite this indisputable fact. I am not playing word games. I didn't use the word "stupid," and you know it. If you can show that I did indeed use the word, then by all means show me where I typed it in the post to which you refer. Until then, you DO know it.

Fact: I didn't use the word you deduced. Please stick to what I write, not what you think I am implying in what I write. Come on, Bro. Curtis: you're better than this.

    Regards,
    BiR

I'm better than what ? Saying someone is beyond help because they ask a question I don't like ?:BangHead:

Where I come from, saying someone is beyond help is just as good as calling them stupid, especially when you are engaged in a debate. You meant it as an insult, you should admit that.

Apparently, not many folks think it's that important. I would also say that you don't think it's very imoprtant either, or you would point out what it is in her testimony that sticks in yer craw so.

That was his intent, I'm sure.

Now, as you say, he won't "man up". But that is normal BiR debate tactics.

Okay, Bro. Curtis, here is my question again:

Did you read the story at the link? Did you read what Ms. Goodling said at that hearing? Somebody is lying, and despite this, it was not really reported. Why would the so-called "liberal media" not report this? Why wouldn't Drudge put up one of his typical Breitbart links?

    Regards,
    BiR

Because Drudge isn't a balanced news site ?

Okay, if that is what you believe - or are you asking me? Bear in mind that Drudge never claimed to be balanced.

Despite his disregard for the story, why didn't the "drive-by media" cover this?

    Regards,
    BiR
