This link has the copyright info on almost every version. It will show you that you would have to post, as an example, over 250 continuous verses to infringe on copyright laws and then only if you did not include their copyright info. (That is the info from one of the modern versions. The Nelson NKJV site is temporarily down and my Bible doesn't have any verse limit mentioned but I didn't want to assume and be incorrect.) Most versions gave no verse limit.
