Knowingly, purposefully attacking a brother's appreciation for entertainment, is OK?
This is your version of brotherly love? Why not try convincing your adversaries with compelling arguments, instead of evil indignity's?

 

And I don't listen to Rush much anymore, but recognize he stands firmly for many, if not most, of my personal values, and I deeply appreciate his efforts at stemming the tide of liberalism....

Anyone who "dreams of riots at a political party's convention" isn't a patriotic American as he so often has claimed. He's hoping that the democratic process will be disrupted so his twisted goals will be accomplished. This guy is not only a fool but a fraud.

 

What's interesting is that of the three remaining major party candidates it's the Republican candidate who has been divorced and remarried, and was committing adultery with the woman to whom he is now married while married to his first wife.

 

What do you think? My, you've gotten more like.... well never mind...

I suspect that is only one of his unusual aspects. (for lack of the right word)

I have admiration for his stance against liberalism.

 

The Lord is not up for election.....And all these fall short......Christians are stuck with McCain, or third party, or no vote.....

 

Amen, MP. I am glad there are Christians with the good sense not to support a warmonger such as Senator McCain and will vote for either Senator Obama or Senator Clinton.

 

I have a hard time calling McCain a warmonger given his experience in Vietnam. Surely if anyone knows the brutality of war, it is this man. I'm not saying he is not one. I am just saying I think it's a bit too partisan to say he is categorically one. Surely this election can be about more than just petty labeling.

I also get a little weary of hearing hacks refer to McCain's divorce, Obama's supposed business/personal relationships, and Hillary's defense of Bill's indiscretions. Once again, can we not talk about issues with substantive discourse rather than stoop to the sleaze of the Al Frankens and Matt Drudges? Or are we cursed on BB to regurgitating the personal cheap shots from the fringe hacks, based on candidates sins from years gone by?

Oh well...I'm just one of the lunatics who likes civil discourse based on the issues and not the tabloid stuff. I'm funny that way :laugh:

 

Just wait until September thru November 4, Tom. It's going to be real ugly, I am expecting. You moderators may have your work cut out for you. Those of us who will be supporting the Democratic Party nominee aren't going to just sit back and let the McCain supporters get away with just whatever attacks they make.

 

I personally wish every swipe at McCain's divorce or Obama's lapel pins or whatever the shot of the day at Hillary is would all be edited by the Pols mods. Probably won't happen...the mods wouldn't have enough hours in the day :laugh:

 

I believe that, as long as it is done within the confines of the rules, things like this should be discussed. I adds to the understanding of the candidates. The problem as I see it isn't what is discussed, it is how it is discussed.

We, as Christians, should be able to express our views without the bitterness and underlying hatred that sometimes is used when discussing things such as politics.

 

See ? That's how you should do it. Put up facts. This kind of post says a lot more than "Rush is a pig", doncha think ?

I have yet to hear a good reason why a Christian should support those who support the murder of unborn children. I doubt that I ever will. Sad.
