Do you prefer to attend (or speak at/participate in) morning or evening services?

Some things are so culturally bred into us.

ACtually, if I can tear myself away, I prefer evening, but I don't mind the morning thing, either. Actually, a service can/should be scheduled whenever.

We don't have evening services. Instead, we have church training.

In the morning service we water the new plants.
In the evening service we compost the established flowers.

I get 'growed' in the evening service.

I prefer all services other then the 11AM service. The Church is full at 11 but I believe the real believers wanting to grow and not be entertained come to the other services. That is why I prefer those services.

i put more prep into the Sunday morning services and i suppose i prefer those. I'm not a fan of Sunday evening services and would prefer using that time for other ministries, but i've got to be here a few more years before suggesting the slaying of that sacred cow.

As a general rule my church has neither a corporate (where the whole local church body collectlively attends) Sunday evening or Wednesday evening service.

For about the last 10 years or so we have moved to becoming a cell-based (small home group prayer & Bible study) local church.

Some of our cell groups meet in their homes on Sunday evenings, some meet on Wednesday evenings, and some meet on other days throughout the week.

The only "corporate" activity that takes place on Sunday evenings is our AWANA ministry (It runs approximately from 5:15 to about 7:30 or so.).

Of course, AWANA is open to any family who wishes to attend/enroll their child(ren) so there are families who may belong to other churches (or maybe none at all!). However, I'd venture to say that the majority of our AWANA program's participants are families who regularly attend our church.
