Another post mentions the "yoke of the Law"

Either Paul is misinterpreted or Paul misunderstood the purpose of the Mosiac Covenant, strictly a social contract for those living in the Land.

There isn't a single verse in Exo thru Deut that applies to salvation in the next life or to gentiles living outside the land.

Second, if the Law is so onerous then why do Jweish people still observe it when the could more easily convert to Christianity?

Probrobly true (Don't know on this one, I dont study laws) But don't you think thats why it was not continued by the Gentiles then? When the Jews tried to Yoke the new gentile converts with it in Acts were they not corrected? Circumcision? Maybe of the heart verses outer?

    Seth3 replies,

People observe alot of things for various reasons I'm not sure maybe they think they would be betraying tradition or laws, or God, who knows?
