Are you sure you don't want to put some kind of twist on this like is it ok for a woman to go see one of these movies by herself?

    ;)

The only one I've seen was Spiderman III.

Maybe it's OK if she wears a head covering???

[However, said covering must {1} NOT be similar in any way to any head gear typically worn by males; and {2} conform to all parameters of "modesty" (e.g., It must cover the entire head, and be w/out any slits at all)!!!] :tonofbricks:

Personal Preference: I don't attend public movie theaters.

If there's a movie that in IMO might in some way be edifying to me, I may rent/purchase it to be viewed by myself in the privacy of my own home.

(FYI: The number of such movies I possess is probably less than a dozen.)

I rarely go to the theater either. If I'm going to watch one, I rent too ;)

I did see Spiderman when we were in Texas last time and had some time to kill. I'm partial to comic book movies.

I rented two movies over the weekend that I recommend highly

Pride - about a swim team out of a condemned rec facility in philly in 1974. Based on a true story, the guy that started the team still does it.

Bridge to Terebithia - I dont normally watch movies marketed to kids, but had heard some good recommendations from folks that I respect so wifey and I watched it. great story, very well done, not and actor in the movie that I recognized. Caution - and spoiler below - if you dont want the spoiler and caution dont read. I dont normally cry at moveis, even supposed tear jerkers, but this one got me. I also watched the dvd extras - the author talked about how this movie was inspired by her son and one of his friends

if you watch this movie with a youngster, one of the main characters dies. You dont see the death only the aftermath. But, be ready to deal with this. My daughters had read this book as a school assignment, so they knew it was coming - Dad did not!

I have not been to a movie in years, so none of the above.

However, I do plan to see Spiderman 3 when it comes out in DVD.
