I agree. Their sentences should at least be commuted by President Bush.

Turn 'em loose with nothing less than a full pardon.

Restore them to their jobs with all back pay.(If they're crazy enough to take them)

Not commuted, but a total and complete declaration of being innocent. The government owes them an apology, a considerable sum of money and their jobs back. In addition, that prosecutor should be fired if not prosecuted.

But then again, that would take integrity at the highest levels of government, so what do you think the odds are of this happening?

Johnny Sutton is a "dear-friend" of W so W isn't going to do anything to make Mr. Sutton look bad. Ramos and Compean were working against Ws immigration policies, so they aren't likely to get any presidential favors. The congressional hearings should be interesting though.

Turn them loose, with a written declaration from the courts that they have been unjustly accused, prosecuted, and jailed, and that they are totally innocent of all charges. Not only should they be paid back all their back salaries, but all privileges and benefits restored, AND a substantial and fair renumeration from the United States, AND Aldrete-Davila arrested on sight, and put to jail.

Honest citizens should demand for the resignation, and disbarment, of Sutton.

Actually, a president can. But it is much more prudent to do at the very start of an administration and not in the middle of it unless there is just cause.

Agreed. These men did their jobs. Tancredo has virtually made this his platform.
