NEW YORK – MSNBC was the victim of a hoax when it reported that an adviser to John McCain had identified himself as the source of an embarrassing story about former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the network said Wednesday.
David Shuster, an anchor for the cable news network, said on air Monday that Martin Eisenstadt, a McCain policy adviser, had come forth and identified himself as the source of a Fox News Channel story saying Palin had mistakenly believed Africa was a country instead of a continent

I believe that they knew all along that this story was false but they ran it anyway and after the damage is done they come out with this phony retraction. They fear Palin and are trying their best to discredit her and destroy her political carreer. This just shows how dishonest the media are, especially MSNBC, and that they cant be trusted.

He's gonna say, (to quote the news story itself) "The hoax was limited to the identity of the source in the story about Palin — not the Fox News story itself. While Palin has denied that she mistook Africa for a country, the veracity of that report was not put in question by the revelation that Eisenstadt is a phony."

Still, doesn't do much for the credibility of the content of the story.

    Awesome!
But judging by your pic I'm not sure if you are old enough to run.
    How old is he?

He'll be 35 that January to take office. HE says HE has it all worked out.

Since I raised him, I have every confidence he'll do a better job than any of the other yahoos that have been elected.

Now he just has to get elected to something else first  - dogcatcher, mayor, governor

    Brandon in 2016 :applause:
