To the cheers of a few and the anger of many I have asked the Webmaster to allow me back on my post as moderator of this forum. As some of you might recall I stepped down in part because I did not manage my time well.I was content to stay away until I was disturbed by some of the views I saw posted on this forum. I was led to ask for my job back and the Webmaster has allowed me another chance. I am looking forward to keeping the sand clean in this box and once again assuring a safe haven for those who choose to accept the Bible as it is written. As the posted guideline states I am not saying who can or cannot post here but I am reminding everyone that if they post here the guidelines will be enforced. Hopefully that will not be necessary.

    God Bless
    Murph

I couldn't help but notice the age of the earth forum was one in which you expressed the idea that it belonged somewhere else.

I think the interest shown by the length of that thread just goes to show that without a functioning "evolution" forum the BB is, actually, incomplete.

Paul until you mentioned it I was not aware that the board no longer had a C/E forum. Since it does not have one then this is a valid topic for this forum. What I was upset about was the posted views which in my opinion dissagree with the clearly printed wording of Genesis. I am happy to discuss cration or evolution in the fundamental forum but the forum guidelines must be followed.

    1. A hearty welcome back, Murph!
    2. There will be a creation/evolution forum again. So much was repeat that I told the webmaster that I would consolidate the material for people who wanted to check it, hopefully before posting! It got sort of silly saying the same things again and again.

However, at the present moment, I have a major paper from a geochemist to edit, Barry's book to finish typing, some rooms to paint before the new carpet comes in, and the dishes and books from my mom's house to pack away and put in storage. He also has a major conference coming up which we are preparing for, and, added to normal household, yard, and shopping duties, time is just a wee bit crowded right now. But it will be coming.

    Mainly, though, welcome back Murph!

That's not the only forum with a lot of repitition going on. Look at the Calvanist board, for example! [IMG] And sometimes, even in the humor forum, you see the same joke twice.

Such is the human condition . . .

You're a better man than I am, Murph. You announced your return, and less than 25 minutes later you had already been mocked twice.

May God bless you and keep you, brother.

    1. I don't understand, do you think Squire did not do his job? I personally thought he did well.

    2. Again, was Squire in trouble or something? Why did you feel the urge to come make sure the sand is clean? I don't care if you are a moderator or not, I just thought your comments were insulting to the Squire (who did an excellent job in my short stay here).

</font>[/QUOTE]IMO the Squire has always done a great job on this board and I haven't heard anyone dissagree with that. I am sorry if anyone has misunderstood my remarks.
