Saw the Camaro concept car- it is ugly, sorry. Love the Challenger, brings back lots of memories. Had a friend with a purple Challenger (don't remember what year) with a Hemi and Slapstick. Those were the days!

I had a 69 Camaro RS. Hugger Orange, black vinyl top, houndstooth interior, 350 auto with console shift. Bought it in 1974, paid $1600 for it. I was the second owner. Drove it until 1983, sold it for $2200. Back then that was a good price. It was cherry. Now it would be worth 10-15X what I sold it for 23 years ago. [IMG]

Also had a 69 Pontiac Bonneville with the 428 motor. What an sleeper! Left quite a few kids in Mustangs in the tire smoke. Was a cool car with fender skirts and the whole nine yards. Drove it till it died. Couldn't afford to fix it, finally sold it for $500 [IMG]

My dad still has his 1962 Corvette fuelie. Bought it in 1972 for $1600. Has been in several magazines and won several concours trophies. Unfortunately, dad lost interest in the car and it has been sitting in his garage on a trailer since probably 1985. Fuel injection is all disassembled. If that is my inheritance I hope he gets the FI back together cause I don't know anything about it.
