I can't say that I'm embarassed, but I get some strange looks whenever I play "Weird" Al Yankovic's music. Of course I mostly like his stuff from the 80's & 90's. I don't really listen to music from today, so when I hear some of his songs, I don't really understand which song he's making a parody of.

Some of the songs I like of his are:
    1. "Smells Like Nirvana" (parody of "Smells Like Teen Spirit")
    2. "Trigger Happy" (has sort of a Beach Boys type rythym to it)
    3. "Another One Rides the Bus" (parody of "Another One Bites the Dust")
    4. "Like a Surgeon" (parody of "Like a Virgin")
    5. "Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch" (parody of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun")
    6. "I Lost on Jeopardy" (pardoy of "Jeopardy")
    7. "Eat It" (parody of "Beat It")
    8. "I Can't Watch This" (parody of "U Can't Touch This")

Weird Al is funny, but I can't listen to him. He reminds me of this kid in youth group who used to pop his pimples and lick his fingers. One time on the way back from a youth outing, I fell asleep in the van. My brother was next to me and that kid was next to him. I woke up with this kid's hand in my hair and when I slapped him, he said he was sleeping and dreaming of petting a cat. Yeah right, Buddy. Paws off!

He used to listen to Weird Al.

I have a story about Neil Diamond, too. I used to sing it, "Reverend Blue Jeans". Give me a break, I was only 7.

Yeah, I was wrong when I "corrected" the spelling! I saw something about them in the paper and said "uh-oh."

No one cares what I listen to 'cause usually no one is around when I'm playing my music. My son might be around but he likes some of the music I do and I like some of his.

I liked her first album, The Lion and the Cobra/Jackie and Troy. Her shaved head was kinda cool in 87...She has an incredible voice!

I absolutley love Bony M's song "Mary's Little Boy Child" (from their Christmas Album) @ Christams. For many years it has been the number one requested song at Christmas on our local radio station. I must also admit that I am not familiar at all with any of their other songs.

I used to love ABBA growing up. And I will admit that I was a big fan of the Bee Gee's and any other disco music out there. My youngest daughter really likes the Bee Gees also, since I introduced her to them while watching a PBS special "One Night Only". I'll go run and hide now!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a little of everything on my Ipod.

Everything from Sandi Patty to One Bad Pig (on the Christian Music side of things) and From the Go Go's to Ozzy on the flip side.

Most of the Christmas musicians I listen to I wouldn't be caught dead listening to any other time of the year. I like basically all the Christmas music (which is pretty bad considering how dumb most of it is) unless it's song by a Beatle or is about a hippopotamus.

I have forgotten to mention that I used to enjoy listening to the Spice Girls. They had some good songs. The main reason I liked listening to them was becuase they were so cute.
